WoT has American tanks.  How long was their WWII? :)

It's not a WWII based game.  The game has tanks from the end of WWII up to the 1970's.

1) From 1939 to 1945
2) That's the point, some tanks that are in the game didn't exist in the WW2

If Germany invaded Poland then how did you come to conclusion they were allied with Germans ? Or part of Germany (unless you consider occupied country part of Germany and ignore the resistance)

They were not allied, Poland was a part of Germany

You can treat game as historical with added bonus tanks that were prototype up to tier 8. Above that it is mostly blueprint fiction.

To be fair some Japanese soldiers did think that WW2 was still on until 1974.

No, because it's an arcade tank simulator game. A simulation doesn't have to be historically accurate, since there are very few historically accurate mechanics in the game aswell. Plus, look at all the tanks that have guns and armour they shouldn't have (looking at you KV-85 and 268v4)

They never state that the game is WWII based, just because they have a few tanks that are from that era doesn't mean it's based around then. Just look at some of the maps. Last time I checked there weren't any tank battles in rural England, not real ones at least.

True....that's because WoT is not a WW2 themed game.

It was occupied country, it was never part of Germany. Such thing could happen only after war was won, not while it lasts. Occupied countries still fight covertly and there must be force present to maintain order. Also men join allied armies to fight occupant.

That's the point, the game has tanks parts and tanks that were never made, Armored Warfare is also a tank simulation game but it's not the same as WoT

Yes but France was free after the defeat of Germany
