To be honest, he had much more suitable enemy tanks than today

I'm pretty sure we can all recall a game where we get super lucky. Now if you were able to do that every game you might have an argument for the Jt88 being amazing but right now it's still just very average.

Not just a "softer" enemies but the MM was kinder so the armor/speed combination was relevant. Right now it's really an outdated premium.

It was never good.

However preferential MM tanks are buffed so they can fight well vs the tier 9 that they meet every match now.

I recently played a quite a bit and all I can say is that it is really really underpowered in the current game. Stay away from it.. Just buy a skorp.

This was not lucky game, JT88 had less armoured enemies with less powerful guns and better MM while it had good armour in those days. if you kept your lower plate under cover, you would bounce most shots

Used to fear them back in the days, traded my own for a Super Pershing a while back, best trade I've ever done.

I did opposite after SP nerf. And it was great deal back than, now SP is better and more useful

It was good back when tanks still had viable weak spots frontally.

Nowadays it's just a slow sluggish behemoth that has a thoroughly underwhelming gun for fighting Tier 9's almost exclusively.

I'd love those back.
