Anyone like it? I've always loved mediums with big guns, for instance i love the M4A1 Rev. Is the STG worth getting and whats the goods and bads you've experienced with it.

Guess it's great if you like the Rev.

Of course it's a bit weird having the turret in the back but on the other hand you get more camo so the weirdness gets compensated for...

Also, you can point your front towards cover to pull out of trouble quicker after firing the gun.

I think it's a nice tank.

I like the one I have on NA, if only because it provides a bit of variety. The whole rear turret thing takes some getting used to if you haven't already played the equivalent silver line though.

I find it lends itself fairly well to lurking in cities/behind hills etc. with a view to ambushing people with that gun (reasonable alpha, but low ROF); it's tolerably accurate, for a Russian, and the whole package works fairly well, provided you can manage without decent gun depression. The turret armour is decent too, if you can find a suitable hull-down location.

I wouldn't buy it as your only Russian medium premium, but it's quite worthwhile as something slightly out of the ordinary - good if you like variety.

Its not as good as the rev by quite some way. Mainly because the rev's gun is quite decent at the snaps etc. If you are a more passive / play behind type of player, the stg will be fine. If you like aggressive play, the rear turret is annoying.
