At the same time there's a tonne of historical accuracy and the general player base/population now knows far more about tanks and armoured warfare than before WoT came to the scene.

Dude the game would be crap if there was only historical tanks and if u don’t like the historical inaccuracy go play war thunder do you really want to be the person that get like 5 tech trees removed and like 80% of the tanks removed forever it’s ridiculous and like I’ve said go play war thunder a historically accurate game instead of whining on the forum

I wish your petition had some historical accuracy. Most what you claim about the countries is plain wrong

also I’m completely behind wargaming keeping all the non hostorical tanks technically they are historical because the are blueprint tanks

I fully agree, and would not support the removal of "non-historical" vehicles which have some basis in fact, such as blueprints etc.

At the same time, there are features on one or two maps, which are, to my mind, totally worthless and ridiculous anachronisms, and give the player base a twisted view of 20th c history.

Examples:

The Zeppelins on Redshire - ok maybe for tiers 1 and 2, but completely out of place for tiers above that.

Helicopters on Minsk, which would be far better restricted to tier 8 and above.

I realise that that would require the introduction of a second version of the same map, but heck, that's been done before! (Fiery Salient, Winterburg etc). Alternatively, those features could be removed entirely, without any detriment to game play, but with a big improvement to the sense of realism.

(No, I have not forgotten the naval graveyard on Glacier, but that is such a large feature, it would take the combined efforts of all nations' scrap metal merchants to remove it!)
