Some people like me, prefer to say word or two when battle is starting other say their battle cry and most are mute. Which ones are yours? And if you have opening line, what is it?

For instance, when we where able to chat with enemy team, I used to greet them with: Hello my gay enemies, how are you today/tonight? :D - And that line was quite well received.

Now its: Greetings! Please lets play as team. Support your team mates and stay in groups. Solo tank is easy target. Good luck and have fun!

Depend on my mood and the tank I'm in - when there is a cheesy pun to be made, I'll do it ^^

Like: Don't mind me I'm just togging along.

But you are right, friendly and intelligable greetings usually brighten the game from the very start

Telling the tank behind me to stop looking at my ***!

Teasing Japanese heavies: "Hey O-Ho, you're fat and green"

Teasing T-100lt drivers: "T100 did a Maus sit on you?"

Asking the team in general: "Is this the little ladies room?"

True. But there's maybe 30 seconds available before serious involvement in the battle is needed. And I'd rather win the battle than post in mid-battle some witty comment no one will actually remember after we'd lose. :sceptic:

I look at the names of the team I'm in.

If it's someone I recognise, I'll say 'Hi'.

But if it's an amusing nick I spot, I'll try a laugh.

I was in a battle and spotted someone with the name, Panto, on the same team as I was, and I said.

"Hey Panto, behind you".

His reply, "What?"

I was crushed. :teethhappy:

I say: "Le Quack" every time I play AMX40.

I also ask my team to tell me were arty shot them from, to do some counterbattery fire when I play slow reload arty.

In all the other situation i surf the forum or talk to toonmates during countdown, rarely answering people in chat.

I normally do that with the AMX 40 as well, however now that I am on EU server I feel a little more shy about doing so for some reason. Not sure if I should or not...

I used to say "For Frodo and the Shire." or "For the glory of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch."

I had a few others, but I can't recall them.

Varies between:

-Morning

-Evening

-GL+HF

-Do NOT go to beach!

-Please no one go the beach!

-NO heavies go beach please

and if we have lost, usually at the end:

-going beach loses game, or

-heavies all dead on beach and we lost again-next time please choose a different route!

Oh and on beach matches   "If you like to see naked men swimming please go to the beach"     You'd think in this world of 15 yr old gamers that the height of abuse is "GEY" it would have some effect but no, the top tier heavies still go
