I'd love to go, but it's a fair old jaunt from where I live.

A 3 and a half hour drive there, and 3 and a half hours back, may be a bit too much on the mrs.

I'd love to go, went year before last to play in the 3v3 tournament but didnt really get too much of a chance to see many tanks driving around the arena as we was indoors most of the time playing :(

I found a nice airbnb nearby. A real bed beats a camping every time ;)

I'll save and go to the Victory Show, in Cosby, Leics, in September.

I went a couple of years ago, and it was fantastic.

Still doesnt beat a real bed. And my Airbnb is only 2.5mile away from your campsite so thats not that far if we all have a drink later after the tankfest

Is that the one they already had at bovington?

As in; the one that was filled with asbestos?

Takes me about 5 hours if I get lucky with traffic.

And a free bed warmer if you don't zip up properly when you nip out to the loo at 4am. :teethhappy:

I think it's a guest vehicle

It would be great but a 6.5 hour drive.... Wouldn't mind but used to work in the New Forest regularly for years but never got to the museum, flaming work always stops you from doing what you would really like to do. Now I am retired can't face the traveling anymore:(

I like the look of that site, we camp regularly in Weymouth, interesting how they whack the price up for Tankfest though!

Me...I'll probably do the War and Peace Show in Paddock Wood, Kent in July in Vietnam era clobber with the wife! :girl:

I like Tankfest, done it 2-3 times now but very crowded I feel :sceptic:

Was the latest info we had who was coming in June. sadly moved by the mods, but since it is really about members from this subforum coming to TF this year I kinda hope they will leave it here now.

As far as camping goes:  Rosewall Camping https://g.co/kgs/XDGc3c
Is where I've stayed for the past 3 years.
Great site, and right by the coast.
It does require a 10-20 minute drive to the museum though.
21:28 Added after 2 minutes
I'm probably not going to be there this year, have been the last 6 years and unfortunately of the two I have been with each time,  one is at Goodwood this year, and the other one forgot to renew his visa and has... er, voluntarily left the country and can't come back for at least a year.

No, it belongs to a Private Collector, one of only two working in the world. A ten year restoration process :)

I haven’t been to War and Peace for a few years but always enjoyed it.
