So with the wheeled vehicles arriving in the next update, and as from previous experience the servers will no doubt, be absolutely  flooded with people trying to climb the tech tree.

I'm going to wait  until it all dies down but in the meantime I'm going to "vulture" off these people

What would people recommend as a good vehicle or class to farm these noobs on their journey to wheeldom?

Anything with fast shell travel time. Scoda or something.

I recommend not playing tanks that they have an easy time dealing with.

Jokes aside, whatever you can park in a bush with good conscience. Preferably with binos because you can. Have fun outspotting wheelieboys with crappy crews. Ideally use something that meets T8/9 as much as possible. That's likely where the longest grind is, and I bet most skip the first tanks, not the last ones. My top picks is hence EVEN 90 and Strv. S1.

(Not that even a potato has a particularly hard time outspotting a Panhard EBR.)

KV-4 and other heavily armoured HTs. Good luck damaging me with 240 pen premium HEAT at tier 10!

Maybe a turreted TD like a M36 Jackson with stock gun or Cromwell with Derp gun at point blank after ramming!

I made a ramming cromwell once it was hillarious,

i had a real hotch potch of crews some has 3 skills others just two.

my set up was supsension, rammer, spall armour

Commander : Jack of all trades & Eagle eye

Gunner : dead eye and designated target, Snap shot

Driver : controlled impact  and off road driving

Radio leech :  Call for vengeance and repairs

Loader : Adrenalin rush and safe stowage.repairs

it was a great deal of fun and incredibly powerful, surprisingly so, I can recall once killing a tier 7 heavy on low hp. Unfortunately I did not survive.

such a pity you cant equip the derp on the CromB

Basically anything with good all around protection like the KV series, churchies, etc. If you want to completely cheese them, a side-on 257 at a slight angle cannot be penned reliably by ANY standard ammo from an armoured car. They need your flat arse to pen so ye, balans da.

Derp guns also work, providing you know how to lead them properly.

Judging by the "feedback" in the public test AC thread, I highly doubt most people can manage that :bajan:

M41 90mm with the HESH?

EDIT: Oh it's HEP... Well, when it comes to wheeled vehicles, it's basically a fast moving derp gun with good mobility and far better view range.

You don't really need to lead, just be aimed where they are going to come out.

I was mostly killed by FV4005 in the tier X although a T100LT did do a good job chasing me halfway round Muravanka.

For the lower tiers probably one of the autoloader French lights.

I know the view range is pretty terrible on those wheeled bins, but I have ladies lined up for that line.

Anything with good shell velocity (and snap shotting capability) would be my guess.

Anything with clip guns or APCR as standard. As burst damage and shell speed is what will cripple them.

Or the German Bulldog if the premium comes before it. As it's HE pen will cripple them a bit.

I'll certainly be trying the G1R against the T6 wheeled tanks with relatively high HE derp shell velocity. Will certainly require a bit more lead than I'm used to, but hey, a challenge is a challenge.

I played the CT last night and was completely gob smacked after bouncing the T8 Wheeled thing with an Obj 430 firing AP, not once but twice - moral of the story load HE ..... ( yes I know - no one uses AP on the CT except me )

Killing one traveling at speed is hilarious though especially if it hits a bump at the moment of death - chased one down in a WZ132 and killed it as it hit a bump - it flipped up did a 360 mid air while it exploded ..... Yeah I have the replay, the dog left it intact, so I can upload it if proof needed :)

1.I have pre-loaded my AMX ELCbis with experience and a girl crew, so my charge up the wheeled line will be with a 3/4 perk crew, so do not bet on all the players grinding having poor crews in them.

2. They are very fast. I played a rental one on the main server and you will need a very high velocity shell or getting very close to damage them. I suspect the players suggesting derp HE and leading shots will be disappointed, my rental one was capable of weaving all over the place and still keeping amazing speed.

3. Any light tank with sufficient speed and using extra 105 Octane consumerable would be interesting. The speed would bring them close (although via vectors and not in a straight line race).

4. High velocity shell medium or TD with good accuracy. Exception might be the Cromwell at tier VI due to it's sheer speed.
