I believe you need at least 5 battles on the global map to be eligible for the auction. In terms of how the auction is run I have no idea, probably a blind auction (all bidders simultaneously submit a bid).

14. Bond Auction

Players who ended up in the Alley of Fame, but failed to make it to top 10,800 and did not receive the option to exchange bonds for vehicles, can take part in the Bond Auction and try to win one of six clan vehicles (T95/FV4201 Chieftain, М60, VK 72.01, Object 907, 121В, Т95Е6).

14.1. The auction starts with the opening of the window to exchange bonds for vehicles on February 6 (Note: starting date of the action may change, it ends on February 21 at 08:00.

14.2. Players who entered the Alley of Fame, but did not finish in the top 10,800 have a chance to make a bid in bonds of at least 5000Note that personal Fame Points can be exchanged for bonds and used for an auction.

14.3. A player can cancel the bid at any moment and make another bid.

14.4. At the end of the auction, the players who made the highest 600 bids will receive the vehicle selected by them in the bid window.

14.5. If there are several players who made the smallest winning bid, the players who made the earliest winning bid will receive the vehicles.

14.6. Bids that were made but did not win shall be returned to the players who made these bids.

so yes you need to play 5 games to enter the alley of fame, only then you are able to bid on it after campaign

do wonder why didnt you enter a decent/good clan from the start to just get top 10.8k (top 5k should be pretty doable anyway) so you get the tank for "free"

as it is half in the campaign already and alot of clans have fixed teams and wont focus much on letting new players to farm the tank

unfortunately the clan where I was apparently had as a priority to take the cw tank to "friends"

I think I do not have to add anything else ..

it's the first time I've been in a situation like this during a campaign..patience, I'll spend 20k bonds just to have the tank I want [chieftain]
