I really hate those wheeled vehicles,it will kill šassive scouting,they are to fast,maps Like prokhorovka and malinovka would not be playable anymore for slow tanks and passive scouts...that really sucks...

On hard surface ( town streets, roads) wheel vehicle is faster than tank, on soft surface , because of high ground pressure is very, very slow, another thing is that they are much higher than tracked vehicles, so you cant hide easy. and armor is enough to stop 20 mm bullet.

if these type of vehicles WOT introduce in game i think it would be fair enough to allow tanks to use AA machine guns mounted on top of turret

The xp i saved up with my elc (32600) for the first wheeled vehicle just vanished after the update. Anyone experience the same?

OMG... Wheeled vehicles look fun, but to grind to them via the crappiest Light tank, the fixed gun ELC is painful.

First 10 seconds in and tier X wheeled vehicle running circle around our arties, killing them both and getting away because people can't simply hit it. I don't care about arties but if enemy wheeled vehicle rushes our base and our wheeled vehicle plays for stats, enemy gets advantage of two artilleries immediatly after the game begins... Good job wargaming on making people suiside scout even more than before.

Really stupid development.  EBR105 on enemy team gets 5 spots, 2700damage, 3 kills and survives the game with 40% HP left on Steppes.  No WV on our team and our 3 scouts were useless idiots.

FUN jumped over VI to VII realy too much exp  got 32k from elcbis plus some 130k golden not enough to get to VIII :(

 

Anyway aimbots are not working yet so nice light plays everywhere nobody can shoot without aimbot :)

They have bad viewrange and turn slow, also you can flip easily but the insane /as in: gamebreaking/ yolo potential is a joke. They also have better potential at lower tier battles where you can just run around and shoot any slower tank. At tier 9 and 10 you become easier to hit but still can yolo the enemy base to kill arties or make a living meme from the slow / non turreted tank destroyers and heavy tanks.

 

I have only one problem with this. 

 

This wheeled vehicle line was not needed nor wanted. The original purpose of these tanks is already in the game. It called light tanks.

 

Instead of implementing another method to spend more money on the game (grinding the line for more and more xp) you should have focused on balancing those light tanks which are currently totally out of the game (wz, panzerw, amx, sheridan).

With a good rebalancing of tier 10 light tanks adding of a new line could be avoided. But who I want to deceit? A new line always means money, so of course they will go through with it.

 

This just killed the game's competitiveness. It doesn't matter a wheeled vehicle yoloes in and spot the entirety of our team then dies, but it destroys the game's purpose. The purpose of playing the game adjusting to the attributes of the tank classes.

 

Maybe we will have fewer artilleries due to ragequit, but on the long run the game length (which is very short and officially one of the game's current problems) will be even shoter, due to these guys, hence there will be one larga area on all maps where every tank fights, and the overall purpose of scouting, double bushing and tactics will evaporate.

 

I play this game almost every day since 2013, but the direction in which World Of Tanks is heading is the losing of 40-50% of its playerbase, and we already see the dropping numbers on servers at the statistics' site.

 

It's sad, really..

I played my first four matches as SPG, as I often do. In 2 of the first 4 matches, the wheeled French light yolo'd into the arty area. Of course, arty cannot rotate quickly, so it was a bust. 0 assisted and 0 damage.

Completely idiotic line of "tanks"!

As I see it there are mainly three issues with them:
1. They require quite a bit of skill to play as intended. Skills that most that play them don't have, so they just suicide rush and kill arty. This leaves their team with a spotter less.

2. They don't really work well as spotters since they require active scouting and have really bad view range. But since they are light tanks the MM can match a wheeled one with a regular light on the opposite team. This can leave the team with the wheeled one quite crippled since their spotting is lacking.
3. They are insanely OP in a skilled players hand.

Please admit that you made a mistake and remove them. This is not what the game needs and this is not what players have requested.
It could possible work if they are made into a completely new class (wheeled tanks) and are restricted to maybe one or two per team.

1 more step closer to the grave of the game. When will u wg learn from mistakes? overpowered prem tanks, Forcing players to play with arty for pesonal missions, etc, and now little bugs runnings on battlefield without brain, spoting up everything in 30s so no one can take the position what they want. Whats next? Spaceships? Teleport rings? Stargate? Start fixing the problems with the game, fix the maps, give new maps. Stop pushing out new tanks. (LIKE never existed polis tanks... Td gun, is7 turret and sconq gun depression...)

Wheeltanks is a really big mistake. I cant believe it. In future there will more camper and people who play the game no more.

Watching a top Twitch streamer in the tier 10 wheeled vehicle with full view range flying across maps and spotting everything and firing at full speed, hitting and causing damage, escaping without taking hits and collecting spotting at every game. Yeah great job. You have increased the speed of all games now. Nowhere to hide in a bush like a TD. The whole meta of the game has changed. The more I watch the more nuts this is. The streamer just called it World of Tanks Need for Speed. He’s correct. It’s like removing Offside in Football. 

 

If this messes up Frontline mode then I think that’s it

Where is the box to tick in order to choose to play a regular game without these wheeled crap"tanks"?

I play alot of Britt TD and will be camping from now on, if I play at all.
