what is 2D-style?

A camouflage or style. The 3D-styles are the ones like the Warhammer crossover tanks or the exclusive styles you got from lootboxes, that change not only what the surface of the tank looks like, but also add new or different elements to the tank (like machine guns, armour, customization elements like sandbags or helmets, ...).

Okay, got all of those tanks. Credits rewards are sadly almost never worth it, because they are usually too small compared to the effort. It would been better if we could get a exclusive tank instead.

Well, as a recruiter you don't have to do anything I think, apart from just recruiting. Therefor, the credits reward is just a bonus for sending an invite link. It's worth it IMHO.

Now my questions:

How many recruits can we have (I think it was 5 in the previous formula)? I have non of the premium tanks in the list, so if it were possible to get the reward mutliple times I could vastly expand my garage with this, is that possible?

Also, I have a recruit that bought TX so I got the T95E2 as a reward. He still shows up as my recruit, will I be able to do the referral 2.0 with him as well, or is that not possible and will he be removed as a recruit?

Really disappointing. My recruit was just about getting over the horrendous MM, the steep learning curve and the general new-player unfriendliness, now there’s no reason for me to even push him to carry on.

Why can’t we transition progress?

Because the old program will cease to exist entirely.

Is there any info about the starting date of this referral program ??

It will be coming with patch 1.4.

So this is also a 'returner' program as much as recruitment program?

Might use this if I can convince my IRL friend to come back at some point.

But really, could you at least buff the T95E2 for all 7 of us who have it? That thing is total trash tier.

I think you may want to check the tanks that are available in the new program.

Not a worry. Use an e-mail account you have already, or create a new one and "invite" it by your main WOT account. Then your main account will become recruiter and your new account (by using the new e-mail) will be the recruit. I suppose if you finish the recruiter missions (indepentent from the recruit) you will get the awards.such as tier VIII premium vehicle and the recruit missions to get the tier VI/VII prem vehicles ( for the new account). At least similar situation was at  Referral Program 1.0. WG wants "new players" to be shown as active. So don't be sad. just wait until 2.0 becomes active and see how it will work.

WG has just updated the Referral Program page and the full regulations say: "The Commander has no solo tasks, but they can help their Recruit by playing together".

"Causing a certain amount of damage for playing in the Recruit-Commander Platoon."

do recruits have to specifically cause damage for only that reason (for playing in a platoon with their commander)? and how is the game going to identify the motivation behind the damage done by the recruit?

2 questions:

- How many times can a commander get a reward tank? Is it once per account or once per recruit?

- Can the same player be first a recruit, get a reward tank, and then be a commander, and get a reward tank again?

  1. Will current recruits remain recruits?
  2. Will the T95E2 still be obtainable?

If that's still the case, I'm fine with progress being reset, even though my recruit hit tier IX this week.

hehe.... so its not a free tank. you actually have to play with the recruit and if the guy stops... then you are not getting anything.

So I get to keep my crappy T95E2, that is still unbuffed trash (but in reality should be at least top 10 tank in tier 8 since I literally brought an extra player to wot!!!???) and the people who recruit now get unique T6/7 tank for their recruits and also the recruiters have better prizes? Yeah, how about you buff the T95E2 at least a little?

If wargaiming thinks i will recommend its product to anyone it's delusional.

To recommend something means it has to be a QUALITY product. Sadly, wot is a piece of sugar and wargaiming is nothing but a sugar company.

So.... just waiting for a game to start for 42.6k games it will take 2 weeks of your life. You've wasted it on a game that you don't like the quality of?

This sucks big time, I feel so cheated. It's ok they put a v 2.0 up, but the way they screw all those who started 1.0 recently just sucks big [edited].

I started playing with my recruit 3 months ago, I bought him a T6 premium and now he has 350 battles (still a newbie if you ask me...) and he can't even be elligible for v2.0????

This is so stupid and unfair. Except for unused smurf accounts I don't see who would benefit from this. As I got screwed big time for v 1.0, don't count on me to try to recruit anyone in V2.0, it will probably be cancelled without due notice when me and my recruit are just getting into it.

Ending V 1.0 is just so disrespectfull, at least try to work something out to transfer recruitment points from v 1.0 players to V2.0, or make it that recruit from v1.0 can start over v 2.0 even if they had over 200 battles.

It's not complicated to work out something fair that doesn't make us feel like we got cheated.

Changing to V 2.0 is not bad, but just shutting down v1.0 and locking all those who started v1.0 out of V2.0 feels like a total rip-off.

This is not a way to treat your customers. I'll remember this, next time I'm thinking of buying a new shiny premium tank (which means I won't be putting real-money in this game as easily and quickly as I used too, that's for sure).

It would be logical, when it is a new, fresh start, then old recruits can become commanders and vice versa. Not sure if you can be both. Cant imagine, that you can be though and play as a platoon of 3 and stack the bonuses. That would be insane.

Is it now possible to recruit someone who already has a Wargaming Account but only played WoWs or Warplanes til now? It didnt work with the old referral program, but support could never tell me why. They always said that i would need to wait for program 2.0. So: Is it possible now? Or does the recruiter still need a complete new Wargaming Account with a new email adress?

@eekeeboo

Any informations about that?

I have two recruits at the moment and one has now reached level 9.

As I am a tank collector I am looking forward to adding the T95E2 to my collection ( yes I've read it is not a great tank but this doesn't bother me)

Please confirm that when my recruit reaches tier 10 I will still receive this tank.

NOTE: When playing as a Platoon with your Recruit, the Commander will receive 50% more Credits and XP per battle and the Recruit will receive 100% more XP and Credits. If the Recruit plays alone, there is still a bonus – 50% more XP and Credits.

Will this bonus be active in Frontline, or randoms only
