And the Cromwells have more than either, what's your point OP? We have all known that there is no real difference in DPM between tier 6-8, though there is a big pen difference.

Lower penetration means higher DPM, it's like that for all tanks and works as a balancing feature. Want more DPM on the FV? Nerf the pen or bugger off.

 

It's because of these kind of clowns that I hate to be defined as the same species.

I can find lower tiers with more DPM then the FV. But then again the FV has more or less 80 more pen vs it one tier up. A turret that has armor that works etc unlike the Italian. So if you lost a 1 on 1 vs that... Well.

Fv4202 needs a decent turret apart from that I actually quite like it.

It's not bad to use in FL even.

He has a point to be fair, the FV4202 has never been in a good place and its kind of silly that a tier 6 medium with 240 (which is big alpha for a med on tier 6) has not only more DPM than an Fv4202, but also barely any worse gun handling.

 

That is one of the main issues with many of the British meds, and a lot of tier 8 meds, they have poor alpha for their tier, but also have poor DPM and poor gun handling. Meanwhile IS3s can snap shot like a boss with 390 alpha and armour because reasons.

FV needs same turret armor as 5/1 raac or Primo Victoria. Also the gun handling is atrocious for a very low alpha med, you can't afford to sit still and aim for 2-3 seconds just to deal some @200 damage because usually you will be hit back for much more.
