Hello guys and FBI agents,

WG already added the upcoming Frontline rental premiums in the game files:

FV4202

M4A1 Revalorisé

Panzer 58

T-44

T-54 mod 1

Super Pershing

AMX M4 mle. 49

112

IS-6

Löwe

T34

The tanks are separate from normal premiums, you can see them in game files: https://tanks.gg/list?ti=8

EDIT: Removed Panhard because its not among the rental tanks. Reading is hard for me.

As I have all the other tanks you mentioned, I also might give the Panhard a try.

None for me... I got too much choice as it is already.

Note that there will only be a limited selection available each month. And the Panhard probably won't be one of them anyway: you listed 12 tanks, but going by the announcement there will only be 11 rentals, and the Panhard doesn't have the extra FL suffix.

Kinda stupid that it's just meds and heavies though, they could have added a TD and a (regular) light as well.

I'd prefer not to have rental lights, most players using rentals will be newer players or players with not much experience at tier 8, and lights are pretty hard to play.

And yeh as you said only IIRC 2 will be available to rent each Frontline event, with if they are going on the test server, the first two are T34 and FV4202.

If they choose to play lights in frontline and don't know how to play them, then its fine. They will get killed and provide more exp/damage to the enemy team and help them gain more credits/exp.

Wouldn't consider that a major issue in Frontline due to respawn mechanics and MM differences: Either they yolo, die fast and select another tank. Or they camp bush and are useless, but then they'd be useless is any other tank as well. And as we don't have mirror MM in Frontline there is also no game-deciding "good light" vs "bad light" issue like we have in random on some maps.

But looking at the list with 6 meds and 5 heavies, we'll probably see one med and one heavy each month, and one med (T-44 most likely as it is the only techtree tank in that list) as standard option for credits the whole time.

I prefer having a Rental T-44, American T-32 HT and/or T-34 HT, STRV S1.

I find that rental tank thing BS....

Atleast they have to pay a little now for using them. 10 gold if i remember.

The idea behind it is good....But get abused a lot  by the f2p players..using every code but never ever will buy a tank.

So i hope that if they used a code  they can never rent that tank again for free.

I like the rental code thing. I ground out a Russian medium crew during the last event and really enjoyed playing the T44, currently grinding the line to get it unlocked before the 11th.

I think it’s a bit arrogant to say that f2p players should not have the chance to rent tanks, having been a f2p for 6 years. Frontlines is much more forgiving for newer players and we as a community should not discourage them playing.

Most rental codes are a one-off. So I doubt they can do that with every FL event week.

This is some bigoted statement we have here. Why do you assume everyone has to pay like you? Playing a rental tank is nowhere close to playing your owned tank, knowing it's there forever, and you can put whatever equipment on it and play for fun until you master it.

How efficient do you think a player will be, who's never played a tank they just rented for a week, and being a full free player has to decide if they want to put 1M worth of credits in a tank that will only last 7 days, and then they have to destroy the gear, or put camo/binocs/toolbox? I'm telling you, MTs, HTs, TDs and SPGs, also most LTs, all need rammers that can cost up to 500k if they want to squeeze their profit, otherwise they'll probably never go past Class 2 performance anyway, and the credit boost will simply be a small incentive.
