The battle I just played was disaster from the start. Lakeville is the map. And my scout instead of going for mid spot decides it would be good idea to rush valley. So he did. Died very quickly. Made 0 dmg and 155 spot while spotting 8 tanks. Totally useless move by him, as those tanks would have been spotted anyway. He just killed himself for no reason.

Me on the other side stayed back covering valley with my Progetto 65, dealing 3573 dmg with 501 assistance. We lost the battle. My scout got 164 exp and I got 158. Why, I mean srsy, why tf he got more exp than I did? His play was totally useless. And don't tell me it is bcs he spotted 8 tanks.

How does battle exp allocation works? Lights always get the most?

Any chance for the replay? Because that screenshot says that the allegedly useless scout traveled 1.9 kilometers. That's a bit much for just rushing the valley.

Sry I dont have replay. But he did rush valley and then died there, he wasn't static, just driving around in valley doing nothing valuable.

And whatever he did there cant be enough to overcome 3500 dmg. It's inrealistic. And I do know that scouting enemy tanks gives bonus.

In general don't bother with XP results on hard losses. There are so many unknown factors in the XP calculation (the wiki is definitely not complete).

I rarely ever compare things exp wise. This one just caught my eye so I had to ask questions because it is totally unrealistic.

Simples... T-100 LT is good Russkie tank made of Stalinium... Progetto is cheap Eyetalian tank made of Parmesan... Of course you don't get as much XP

The Lt was probably close to enemies taking damage but the allied tanks doing the damage were not far away for it to result in spotting damage.

That type of xp has large influence in stomps such as this 15-2 battle. You could see the effect if you played the last few ranked seasons as different types were separated there in the results.

No win bonus, he got XP for 8 first spots as well. And based on your travel distance I suspect you did a majority of that damage on others spotting? "that can still happen and under 300m". You lose 50% XP as is then. And again, no win bonuses. So then the top is all kinda weird if the performance bonus is lacking. As in how much damage you did to the enemy team etc.

In what way is it unrealistic? How is HP allocation and XP points connected to real life, and thus realistic in the first place? The overall team performance factor here is so low, such that initial spotting will contribute quite a lot relatively speaking. It also shows that passive back line sniping nets little reward; no risk, no gain. Which seems perfectly fine to me.

Simple.  The system considers he was more useful than you were sitting at the back damage farming.
