The real irony is that WG are too dumb nowadays to see the clear irony in that person's reply.

The moment your Pay2Win tanks are better then regular same tier counterparts, you know your game is heading in the wrong direction (for the players).

T6 and T8 CW's already had to be scrapped as those tiers are now dominated by premiums only if you want to play competitive (Type64, Cromwell B, Defender, Proghetto etc.)

You bet... I'll be using one of my 16 tier 8 premiums making a few 100K prgame. 9 of those I've gotten for free via WG events, 3 of those there again for free via WG contests. And one for free via a special event "non premium income".  So just because some say premium today. Don't indicate they payed for it.

Tbh..I suspect it's more on the income vs normal tanks for FL more so then that they are all OP. Heck I used the CDC lots last time, as it actually worked there. And farmed lots of damage in a support role. Sure you had lots of Defenders etc last time too. But due to the maps size, you don't have to corridor up on them. And even my IS-6 did counter them.

I still don't get why the Type 64 is still in the tech tree. As it's based on the old scout MM, and out DPM's even most meds. Crom B is more or less a normal Crom with small differences. Progetto? I honestly love the normal tier 8 more. Guns are the same, but even with the taller profle, the almost 2x engine power helps.

Defender is an no brainer tho.

No irony there, it's a game mode that prints credits. Why would you not use a premium?

You are missing the point. You could work for WG, you would fit right in :)

OK, I did not think I would actually have to explain something

as painfully obvious as this, but I see that I have to do this for your benefit:

That guy is clearly mocking their premium tanks policy, and yet they pin his comment.

Congrats on reading your own agenda into what is otherwise a neutral comment.

They should make a badge for that, a nice high quality metal one. What would be an appropriate material we could we select for that...?

Because apart from making money most are simply flat out better than their tech tree counterparts. Here, I pointed out the obvious.

Which in turn could generate more premium tank sales...

They are not stupid.

1. Premium

2. Premium

3. Premium

4. Grinding a tank because it's only tier 8

5. Playing a standard 8 that you really like

Not sure if the last one is an actual thing though
