What I don't get is how in WG's mind these things are supposed to be competitive? Can someone actually post on here with a positive appraisal of the success of wheeled vehicles. I'm kind of worried for WG that they spent so much time making something so weak and so tired. And I'm someone who generally considers a lot of light tanks NOT to be underpowered.

Just FYI im grinding through the Lynx stock and on many small maps its total roasted duck really especially most of the time facing things like object 430u.

WG's brilliant plan for successfully implementing fast wheeled vehicles in WOT:

1) Add a bunch of fast wheeled vehicles.

2) Keep the same tiny claustrophobic maps that these wheeled vehicles can traverse in 20 seconds or less.

3) ???

4) Profit ... nope.

The wheelies on the current maps feel like cheetahs crammed into hamster cages.

5) use 3 tier maps with heavy s at bottom tier and wheeled vehicles on top tier and you have a wheely party with a heavy duck

It's an absolute joke WG implemented them. They just don't fit, the maps are far too small for them.

T10 is good in extremely skilled hands. That's the only positive of the entire line.
I wouldn't expect anybody below 2000 or even unicum level wn8 to perform very well even in the T10 though.

Yes exactly, how long has concept been in the pipeline? What were they doing during the testing just dribbling or losing the point completely? Just sheer incompetence? They announced wheeled vehicles as this big thing to attract...who exactly? is going to feel satisfied playing what I can only assume is WG running out of time, ideas and control over their own game. Im guessing they just want to see how much they can give the finger to players, because this shows no actual care or effort. Testing is useless if the brains making the decision is taking/interpreting the wrong information. Garbage.

Really? How likely is the tier 10 going to be able to carry. Still im guessing its going to be a low choice after a whole series of other tanks for extremely skilled players? Would it be your vehicle of choice or up there amongst your faviourites?

Really no way.

İm researched all vehicled exept this new french.

İm at lvl 7 and my exp is about 400 for match.

By that i will need about 200 match to go to 8 lvl.

All tier 5 6 and 7 lights and meds are better in every way. Some lights and td are even more agile  (e25 t ,25 2 ...)

Too frustating ...

At this point Wg has no idea what or where they are going with this product. Stupid and usless wheeled tanks, russian bias tanks, ridicilous HE ammo (type5 etc) and yes, arty. They really need to sit down, hire capable staff and start thinking.

I enjoy the tier 6 a lot. Bombing it around the map spamming high pen HE with ridiculously good gun handling cant be bad.

How long is it before we can get statistical date on the overall performance of these wheeled vehicles? It's going to be hilarious frankly.

I expect youre in a very small minority. Maybe just a nice streak of games but most people say the tier 6 is useless.

Only (super) unicorns will do well in it.

They will be the only ones playing them.

Stats will show that wheeled vehicles will do well.

Wargamings response: This is a great succes, let's add more of them.

Really depends on who's driving even among skilled players. Not sure I will be able to make great use of it myself for example but it looks extremely fun.
It's VERY fast which requires a lot of control over the tank, both in avoiding obstacles, switching between the modes and dodging enemy fire etc. This already disqualifies 95% of the WoT population which simply doesn't have that level of control.
You also need to know all the positions and terrain very well AND you need to make split second decisions depending on what appears in front of you or how the battle develops. Proper use of ammunition (great HE rounds) and proper aim on the move are also important.

I really like mobility over armor myself so we'll see how it suits me when I get there.
The T6 until T9 are utter garbage regardless of who drives it, it's ONLY the T10 that has any hope.

Oh I forgot to mention you'll also need an extremely skilled crew, premium consumables and maybe even bonds equipment on the T10 to make it this good. This also disqualifies most players.

EDIT:
I'd watch our favorite Twitch baboon play the tank. He's a much better player than me in general but especially when it comes to spotting. He's pretty much a fish in water running around with this tank.
The DPG isn't impressive for a T10 tank but that spotting...

Like i predicted..the maps are to small for those wheeled tanks.

And on the big open maps...ill be waiting for them in my m41 90mm... i take posistion wait...and there they come 2 wheeled morrons i outspot them by miles  and let my tds take care of them.

But i like it the way it is...only the good players can play them good.....saw a tier 6 wheeled one yetserday and he was on a killing spree but was a 61%player with 40k games he be competitive in any tank.

So in comparison with the t100lt you think its more or less competitive for unicums? Also, what role do you think it has on smaller maps?

I have only had a few games in the T6 after I elited it, and struggle to keep it above 30% WR, but I still find it interesting. The low WR is probably in part down to being a little bit unlucky with the teams. What people deem useless I tend to see as a challenge, I even grinded through the AMX 65t without spending free xp on anything but tracks and guns.
