Let's check out the differences between the new M41D, the German leKpz and the original M41 Bulldog!

Why do you even compare Standard M41?

it's just usless and has no place in this game anymore...

Assume the concealment values are without camo paint

Never been quite certain if the Black Dogs special finish gives it the same camo values as the none GF version with standard camo.

Considering that the increased firepower of the M41D may already be a major selling point for the vehicle, I'd suggest making the compromise between mobility and firepower more evident by at least lowering the p/w ratio on the M41D to about 25 hp/t (unless you've considered adding the standard Bulldog to the list of tanks to be rebalanced this year), thereby not rendering it as simply a "better bulldog" as many individuals interpret it.

Being a fairly new player however, I'm not sure if the mindset of not nerfing any premium tanks is still in place, so cut me some slack.

Block Quote

But if you're looking for consistency, the new M41D has the highest DPM

Merely 37 points dmp gain over Blackdog and you losing 70 alpha. Plus no HEP rounds on m41d so as far as raw firepower goes it's a bad deal.

This looks like a very rushed article to improve sales because they totally failed day1 expectations :D

Can you just bring back the original m41 bulldog, with the autoloader.

The tank in its current state is completely useless

"With the main focus on firepower and reliability, this tank will perform just fine on the battlefield. It needs to be played more as a supporter than a scout, as you can see with the lower view range and mobility." - incredibly bad thinking...you buy a premium tank, end up as the only light tank on your team, and get team killed for not scouting, or you try scouting and get killed because you are out-spotted. I see this as more of a liability than a benefit to your team. The DPM really doesn't make up for it, because with the low alpha, it's only going to be able to use that reliably by red-line sniping. I've said it elsewhere, but for this tank to be effective it should have the M41D's historical 72km/h top speed and the same view range as the other two. Nobody wants a light tank player playing a supporting role on their team.

This would allow the vehicle to become great unique again.

It's not mandatory to have all 10 shots, although I see no reason why it shouldn't. But halving the shots in the magazine and the loading time from the past would net us a quite competitive vehicle.

But I suppose only Soviet LTs get to be as good as the whole class used to be... because of reasons.

Yes indeed do check out the differences between the 3 of these Tier 8's

HOW fast they ALL DIE in over power +2MM Tier 10 games is a very good place to start - THEN think hmm? was it worth wasting your Money on a Game with a Brocken MM

with there feeble Tier 8 75mm Guns with low Pen and low Damage

Never mind its only YOUR Money …

I feel like the M41D obsoletes the M 41 90 mm.

The reasons being that it is much faster, has better pen, better dpm, better accuracy, more gun depression and above all - much better shell velocity.

You might say that it pays with view range, but the vastly superior engine has HALF the chance of fire.

You can forego the fire extinguisher and just use food, which will make the M41D have better stats all around, including view range.

This is silly to me and I think that the other Bulldogs should be buffed to match this.

I would usually suggest nerfing slightly OP tanks but these are lights so they need all the help they can get.

At 65 km/h, the M41D is the slowest of the lot. I personally prefer the 41 90.

There's no way a few kph makes any difference.

The power-to-weight makes a lot of difference.

The M4190 is sluggish and it gets killed often because of that.
