Autoaim on wheeled vechicles is broken, dat aim is 100% to hit it shouldn't be this way. Players are riding 80 90 km/h and eating you alive with their automaim, they dont even need to aim at you, they peek autoaim shoots. Please consider removing it.

Why not use tje serach function, in stead of posting.

Edit:

So you have been hit by someone at full speed?

If so, why bother, since this is nothing new to the game.

I've been old school for years and only in last six months discoverred the potential of auto aim.

I thought that only the activation of autoaim was a little more forgiving?

Rubbish, it works exactly the same as the standard auto aim, it's just a little more lenient on click accuracy. It in no way makes their shot more or less likely to hit.

And them using the standard one and still hitting you differs how? As the only thing this new one does is make it easier to use it going at speed vs targets at long range. At close range, the field narrows. So you have to aim at the target anyway.

It doesn't change the characteristics of the gun if that's what you thought. It just snaps for them. It don't give them 0.001 dispersions or anything. After the initial snap, it works like the it does on any tank. Just aims at the center of it's target. It don't lead on it etc. So if you stand still... they will hit you, as their guns have rather good soft stats. So if they removed it, and they still locked on you. It would still work the same way.

Here is what just happened. "I died, and I'm going to blame this system I don't understand for it on the forums".

Auto aim doesn't lead the shot. The only difference between normal auto aim and the enhanced auto aim is that it's easier to r-click your target. Normal needs to click the actual tank model, and enhanced targets using a narrow cone.

Activation is the tricky part. I don't know how that one works to determine if it's a lock or not. Feels more like chance to me.

The hitting part is the generous one. It's quite funny how often an autoaimed HE shell hits when you're bombing around at a distance.

It is, but that reality doesn't stop the ignorant playerbase complaining about it and making it into something its not. Quite clearly many like the OP, because they have not read about it and do not understand the game mechanics, think its some sort of aim bot, and of course they get hit once on the move and its suddenly OP.

It's not even like the movement dispersion of these vehicles is anything special either, it's basically similar dispersion levels to Russian higher tier lights and tanks like the T92 light.

Thanks. I guess the "chance" that I perceive could be an issue of server to client thing. You know like when you turn your turret for a quick snap and it turns out that the gun wasn't where you thought it to be. Or maybe I'm just too old and slow for this. Can't rule that one out. :harp:

Its a bit like autoaim plus that's been around for some time.

All it does is allows you to right click near the target without actually having to be exactly over the target.

You cannot do it if the target is not currently in your view such as if it drops behind a slope.

Other than that its just autoaim.

Also the guns accuracy on these A/Cs is 0.4 on tiers 6-8 and 0.38 on the tier 9 and 10

Try HE on them you will take out wheels and crew every time they also burn well.

The Tier 7 I am on usually loses the driver every time its hit and if its HE I lose Driver and several wheels so the followup shot gets me while im repairing.

Heck of a lot of fun to drive though and not bad scouts on open maps
