Saw they improved rendering, wanted to test it out, fps increased by 70-120% depending on map, crazy stuff. I have a i5 7500.

Max FPS have increased for me, but it seems more inconsistent and in the end I don't think my averages have changed much, I7 7700K and HQ, i7 8700K and i9 9900k.

Got an ancient PC. i3 4170 and GTX 750 ti. I play at 1440*900 on high settings and it wasn't stable before. Now I get consistent 60 FPS

I dunno, I always limit my frames to 60. :great:

I did get over 100FPS with high settings on the test server though - i3-4170 2-core 4-thread @3,7GHz / OC'd GTX950

Yeah, happy for you guys BUT:

On my laptop I lose fps. Used to be stable 50-60 but now it goes down as far as 24 and tops 54. You may ask why?

Because now my CPU is thermal throttling like crazy due to the higher load on all CPUs and therefore more heat. My fan just simply cannot cool down anymore and so my fps goes down like crazy. Much worse than before. I'm also constantly at about 100°C with my Lenovo T470p. Even changed the fan with repasting everything with liquid metal paste but didn't help anything.

Any advice?

Try actually limiting the framrate with VSync? You know...it's just...the first thing you'd do when this happens.

VSync creates some lag though, so you can use RTSS instead, it's an on-screen hardware monitoring software (temps, usage, etc.) and it allows you to limit the framerate to whatever number you want without creating lag. Screen tearing might be an issue but that's something I can live with, at least.

I play on a (very) low-end PC, and they said it won't affect low-end users too much.

But it actually improved loading time. Before 1.4 I would enter the game 5 seconds before beginning or at the very beginning. From this patch I enter the battle 20-25 seconds faster, which is really nice.

The only problem I have is with Mannerheim Line, for some reason, it is the only map that I enter 1 minute late, which is a lot tbh, no other map has such a delay.

Well, it would be interesting if you name your configuration, information that you just got more or fewer fps is irrelevant on its own.

From what I have seen, I have exactly the same fps, around 100 (90-120) depending on the map. I have Intel i7 4770 CPU, 16 GB RAM, Nvidia 1060 6GB VGA on FHD monitor and WoT is on SSD

Sitting at a constant 75 fps now since I installed new graphics card on Friday (Zotac GTX 1060 AMP! edition, 6GB DDR5), PC has i5 processor, 8gb ram and SSD drive and displays well in ultra!

Previously was at 60 fps on a Asus Geforce GTX 730 displaying in minimum. Very happy with Zotac card I must say! :)

I have a i5 7500, GTX 1070, 16 GB 2400 Mhz ram, wot on SSD, playing on 144Hz monitor. I play on almost lowest settings, I used to have 150-250 fps, sometimes dropping below 144fps. Now I have 250-450 fps depending on map, it actually more stable just varies a lot around what fps it stabilizes at depending on the map, never drops below 200fps anymore, it's amazing.

what use do you have for so much FPS, your monitor can only display 144

I play on standard render because it feels a tad bit more responsive and fluid. I sometimes jump on improved render. Go forth and back.

Not really much difference, still sitting at 120 fps all the time.
