A couple of skilled players driving wheelies on one team and forever 46% guys on the other and it all ends even quicker than before. More roflstomps, more worthless defeats and equally worthless victories. Bravo Wargaming, what is your next step, just roll the dice before the battle and be done with it? It is amazing to watch how a successful company blithely dismantles its own success foundation, brick by brick by brick.

in like 2 weeks the wheeled LT spam in randoms will be gone mostly

This happens accross all classes and has been like that forever.

I think wheeled lt is WG attempt to make a fast paced game like fortnite and apex, but the result is just a fail. No future.

Came to the forums to make a similar point.

 

I've been away from the game for a few years but I was just really getting into the scouting side and was becoming accomplished at it.  Come back to find that WG has nerfed half the scout tanks so you have to just sit in bushes with them and thrown these wheeled abominations into the game.  They run circles around my lights of the same tier and are somehow able to pen my T-44 repeatedly from the front.

 

As a money-making scheme I understand it, but it sucks.

Guess what... I hate arty and have to deal with 2-3 clickers most matches because players are so incredibly dumb they play arty, not because they like it but for dumb missions for mediocre reward tanks they will never even play.

Even better when those clickers fire premium HE for 1 more meter of splash radius.

Though I got to admit that thanks to gokarts rofl stomps are now even more devastating, their mobility allows them to exploit lost flank much more than lights could, before you notice that flank has fallen they already aim at your butt.

Haven't noticed such a big impact on gameplay. Especially the low tiers aren't so much faster than their light counterparts with tracks. Those WVs are pretty damn underwhelming if you ask me (I'm at tier 8 Lynx). If the hype stops not many people will keep playing those little $hits until WG decides to overbuff them.

I'm conflicted

 

I enjoy the mobility of light tanks, and have learnt to lead shots to counter them with low velocity shells, but cant hit these buggers for sheet!

 

Spunked 3 shells out of my Prosecco at 150m & missed every shot

 

Too much cider probably...

These tanks are not unbalanced , or overpowered ..

Imo they're a good addition to this game , and they will only be useful on the right map in the hands of the right player

By problem with them is the way they drive. They handle like they are on tarmac.. however when on muddy terrain they should slide more and be less manoeuvrable.. anyone drove a car in mud?? Hullo

But these things whatever the terrain dash along as if they are driving in a parking lot. Track vehicles have their mobility advantages and disavantages. Those things have different mobility stats and should handle badly on mud terrain. And their rear speed should be nerfed.. it's too easy for poking and hiding back

And lets buff the guns so that they're actually the same tier level rather than 2 tiers below, and buff VR so that it isn't tier 3 level.

Except when playing the ELC, I didn't had any problem with WV, nor have I noticed more fast games except when you have 6 of them per team, but that is just temporary. Doubt they will have any real effect on gameplay as sson as the rush to them finish...

Dunno about balance but I'm laughing my arse off at them pulling jumps over the sand dunes , it's utterly ridiculous, they behave like dirt bikes!

You imply there is any balance left to destroy, which sadly hasn't been the case for a long time.

 

As far as the wheeled vehicles go I haven't even seen that many of them and the ones I have seen have pretty much all finished bottom of their teams, so they haven't been much of a problem for me yet. Skilled players already have enough OP tanks and advantages given to them that they wreck the majority of players out there and I doubt the wheeled vehicles are gonna make that much worse. I'd certainly rather face somebody in a wheeled vehicle than an Obj 907 with improved equipment.
