Hi Guys / WG

I have purchased the X5 Experience bundle to speed up some grinds...

I've noticed that the 5x multiplier is actually a 4x multiplier (screen shot attached hopefully).

5x multiplier.png

715 x 4 = 2860

715 x 5 = 3575

Granted, the 200 / 300% personal reserves etc are technically a 1x and 2x bonus respectively, but this is advertised as a 5x multiplier and should be 5x the base XP earned per battle?

For example, the 2x daily bonus for the first win is 2 x XP for the battle.

Apologies for the amount of X's in the post, hurts my eyes reading it back.

Could you please explain this eekaboo / WG

Thanks

This should just be part of the game, plus camo's on your tanks, and insignia's and the like should all help towards Crew XP Free XP and the like, game is far far too grindy, most will lose interest long before they get the real tasty tanks, no one wants pew pew guns, they want nuke hit capable ones.

It's +400% just like any other multiplier.

400% plus your original 100% = 500%

Thanks Homer and other posters

But as I pointed out, the package is promoted as a 5x Experience for each victory

Using the 2x daily XP bonus for the first victory as an example yields the following XP per battle:

base 715 Net XP
X multiplier 1 715
2 1430 e.g for 1st victory of the day, you get double XP
3 2145
4 2860 What was received
5 3575 What should have been received for 5x

Hence, a 5x multiplier should yield 3575 XP for the battle in the original screenshot. This is the comparison.

I agree with your +400% statement, but this is advertised as a 5x multiplier not 500%.

5 multiplied by X is fairly simple maths, maybe they are taught differently in Belarus?

Best Regards

you didn't receive 2860. you received 3575 XP ( = 2860 + 715 ), which is the base XP x5.  end of.

and in total you got 3575 XP (i.e. x5) plus the 715 from personal reserves = 4290

QED.

As Homer has pointed out, you get double for x2, triple for x3, quadruple for x4 and five times as much for x5. You do not get 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x etc, extra. You get 5x the total XP for the battle.

Barring any other bonuses such as personal reserves, you get 715 base XP and you get 1430 total XP for x2. 2145 for x3. 2860 for x4 and you get 3175 for x5.

This is the way it has always been, and while I appreciate your side of the argument, you got exactly what you paid for.
