Frontline gameplay sucks

Frontline is fine if u wanna make quick credits.

But the overall gameplay is pure bull poop. There is NO teamplay whatsoever.

When you defend, people don't pay attention to the map, they don't even bother going into other zones to defend, everyone is tunnel visioned in 1 spot.

When you attack? Even if the team manages to capture all caps, instead of focusing objectives and trying to go destroy them, people are just chasing kills and nothing else. Hell, the attackers even go all the way to the red-line and fight defenders in the spawn. 

 

This whole mode is just RNG. Literally. If you're on defensive team, you better pray the enemy goes murder-hobo and chases kills instead of objectives.

If you're attacking, you better hope the defenders all focus 1 line and forget about the objectives.

 

The mode is fun overall, the Respawning and repairing are just AWESOME, but this mode feels like PURE RNG. 

Hell, even in Randoms you get more team coordination and people doing stuff together, in this mode? Out of 13 games i got this morning, on both EU1 and EU2 servers, it was just a roll of the dice. You go in and just avoid lines that are rolling over. 

 

The mode has great ideas, awesome intention, but everyone is just focused on doing damage, not defending /attacking objectives at the  "end-game" when the zones are captured.

that was a thing during the first time it came out aswell .. a couple of days in ppl started to wise up ;)

Its just one big campfest

The repair zones are to exposed same as caps

On side its just way to much cover for camping

 

Probably because of this time Frontline is just not fun experience for me. Witch is sad since i loved the first one.

I guess its my fault for getting hyped about this. Everyone was hyping the mode up and all, but in the end it just feels like chaos.

 

Don't get me wrong, i do enjoy it, its fun and i overall like it. But i was expecting people to actually overall focus on the objectives such as captures and destroying the batteries. Oh well.

Last time on Frontlines, people didnt play the objective until several days later after launch. And even then, many people just want to farm credits.

 

The reason why people hyped Frontlines isn't the quality of gameplay, but the easyness of grinding tanks and credits.

How is it any different to any other gamemode then?
The only differences that I see: You have a bit more room on the maps if tanks are spread on all areas and it can be more frustrating than randoms if your team is all braindead or simply wants to farm silver.

+ too many arty as usual, I spend my time to be destroyed by the new stuff (arty stuff forgotten the name). it is really boring. sometimes you can targeted by the new stuff + the am at the same time. Artys destroy for me the fun in game.

+ the tanks are not balanced at all. even a blind person could be able to see that.

 

1350 hp to 13 hp in a couple of seconds by the new stuff!!! after a fresh respawn (1 minute), impossible to play, so impossible to grind the frontline stuff. this event is not going to be a fun event for me.

At least we get a good/big enough map and we can earn some nice credits. Of course, it has its faults but overall it adds some variety. I would like to see some more maps in this mode, a winter-themed maybe. After 15 battles in a row even the best map becomes a little bit repetitive and boring.

I'm enjoying the gameplay a lot. People firing full gold at me regardless of the tank even when it won't show in their stats record, arty focusing me down, 3-4 autoloaders on every hill and flank... 
If I go cap I get killed by sniping autoloaders, if I go kill the snipers on the flanks nobody goes on cap.

I just need 2 accounts I guess.

WG could have all the great ideas and all the best intentions, but then they have to let the players near it. WG can only fix their game, they can't fix stupid.

The first few games of playing are disorientating as you can actually move about without being funnelled to a spot to die facing a Type5/FV4005 type vehicle.

I love the mode and mechanics, i hate the gameplay experience because the players are not bothering to work together to achieve the objectives, capture, destroy etc. Everyone is tunneled visioned in getting kills.

It's amazing for flanking with lights and scouting. I had so much fun, and i can certainly see the Lynx 6x6 having a blast on this map if its used by an experienced player. I had amazing flanks and kills while dodging people shooting at me, and i can only imagine how much better it would be for something like the wheeled, which can maneuver better than my LT 432.

Frontline is OK. You average player is not and that what make this mode (same as randoms etc.) pain to play sometimes. But in the end if you make enough of your games fun and enjoyable it still outweigh the bad ones.

If you want to spot then no, there will be nobody in range of anything you spot apart from arty.

 

If you want to flank and do your own damage then maybe but you are better off in a medium.

 

Games take too long and too much ping spam for me.

I'm impressed that the whining has started before 10am on the very first day.

 

There are 10 weeks of this mode this year !
