WG, I have a question for you.

I get it that Frontline is popular and it was very hyped. And it is indeed a good mode to make credits, or grind xp.

But why would anyone think it is a good idea to allow queue when you only have 1 tier 8 tank in the garage. Is that not an absolute disadvantage for the rest of the flank/team?

How are you meant to defend/attack when you hjave players waiting for their tank to cool down?

Respectfully,

A Confused Player

not three, not two...one single tank can be rented for credits...

I suspect it's the T-44FL players he is talking about. As most of those only have that one tank. As there is only one rental. Idk why they can't provide more then 1 like last time.

So if you see a T-44FL early on. Take it out, and the chances of it not appearing again for awhile is rather high.

I played 2 games this morning before going out and both times only 1 of my tanks were available

i had the same problem in the ct with the JT 88, but i fixed that because it didn't have any shells loaded, but today it did , but it still wasn't available, (it had a different shell config to what i left it last year, so i reset it) so i'll see if that works later

Answer is easy :

Frustrated player, after waiting few times for 5 minutes, with 1 Tier 8 tank will pay for premium or he will pay for a rent   .

Please close this.

You are missing the point.

I dont care if they buy or rent it. Good for them.

But if they only have 1 tank for tier 8, when they die the team is minus 1 player till the cooldown is finshed.

So either give 3 free rental to everyone, or close the queue for player < 3 tier 8 in garage.

Buying or renting is not my problem, at least they will tanks to play with.

Read again. WG wants them to  be frustrated an pay for the tank. You already paid so they do not care :)

Yeah but that frustrates the 29 players in the team not just them.

Why not block the queue, and in terms they will buy premiums if they want to play. Same logic

For the same reasons that barkeepers occasionally give you free tasters. If you end up liking it you're going to pay for more down the line. If you never had a taste, you'll spend your money elsewhere.

I get why you say "same logic" because in terms of pure utility these things are identical, but the fact is humans simply don't think this way. Rather than buy premiums they'll simply play as if Frontline doesn't exist instead.

That is an excellent argument, the sound reasoning of your rebuttal combined with the undeniable evidence provided will surely cause me to reconsider my statements.

Because WG has said it about everything. They don't want to alienate and split the player base. Regardless of what it is. Thus the rental. And don't tell me that you notice how many tier 8's some have during the battle. As there are more that leave for the lane next to you, vs staying and helping you. Then there are players with lacking tanks on your lanes at any given time for it to matter that much.

Yes it is in that moment, but statistically speaking, enemy has same probability of having player with only one tier VIII (If you have more than one, enemy has even slightly higher chance of having players with only one tier VIII).

You do not see how many enemies are waiting for their only tier VIII.

I've only got two tier viii premiums. Can someone explain (in a noob friendly manner) what the problem is in a technical nature?

There is a chance that you will die twice in a row, then both your tanks are on cooldown and you have to wait even if you have a respawn left.

What's the problem when most only play Progetto anyway.

I understand your point and agree it is frustrating to be a tank down in the game like that.

However, what should WG do in the instance of a player with 3 or more T8's who decideds he only wants to play one particular tank? Should they force him to pick another tank? Indeed, can they force him to?

Should WG also check that all a players T8's are fully crewed and loaded before allowing that player into the queue?

And last evening when playing, I was in the position that having been killed 3 times fairly quickly, I had to wait nearly 3 minutes before I could pick a tank and respawn, even though I had other T8's available.
