Since you need to have at least 2-3 tanks, which would you pick if you can pick any? Spaghetto 46 is probably number 1, 2 and 2 are probably autoloaders as well and I guess you would pick mediums. What do you think?

1) Progretto 46

2) Defender/IS3

3) Type 59

Ps: no artilery must noobs think arty is usefull in Frontline it don't work because due amount of fast tanks it become useless when you need to defend the "Big Guns".

My top 3 are: Obj. 252, Progetto, and WZ 120-1 FT

Some other good ones more specific to situations are Patriot, M 41 90 and LT-432, IS-3 should work as well, but that crew is in my 252 and I'd rather play that

Finding the T-44 very useful, would have used the 44-100 but I don't have one (just couldn't stick the grind)   its good for surviving cap (mostly cap A) it's small enough so it can hide behind the rocks and has enough armour and hp to live long enough in most instances with 5 points in engineering to cap.  In Cap B it can get into the depression so you cant be shot at from the right flank.   If you team cover you in both instances you can survive then pop off to the healing pit :)   Capping gives great exp

I start with Defender, then move on to either T44-100 or the T92, Prog in reserve if needed.

I think I only saw one go-kart last night in 5 hours of solid FL play. I assume crap VR makes them useless.

1. Russian medium or other medium with everything, like RAAC and Progetto/Lorr. 40t to work with enemy tanks

2. IS-3 or other mobile heavy with ok armour for capping (some hulldown mediums or T-54 mod. 1 works as well)

3. Possibly any very fast light tank for the last minute spawn, or a td for that op hill position on C line defend but not necessary.

If you are going to buy three premium tanks I would go with two mediums and one heavy expecting that you don't have any tech tree tanks.

WZ 120-1 FT - over 3k DPM shreds everything at tier 8. Also, use the gun depression to angle the TD backwards on a slight slope and nobody can pen you

Progetto

Lorraine

Those 3 are perfect for most of it.

If you are defending and they push to the city:

Sumua

Defender

Progetto and T-44

Carenarvon AX and Caernarvon

Udes 03 and Skorpion

However, the easiest way to get general is to play arty, especially on defence. Use engineering and position yourself so that you cover two cap points (extra bonus with artillery strike and airstrike).

Easiest way to get general is to go to the fight and not to camp especially if you have even a bit armour or mobility. Rush the first cap and cap it instead of wasting 5 minutes doing 1k damage while you could get +1.5 rank from capping alone.

To sum it up: Push and cap, don't camp unless you defend.

Got 24th rank yesterday by playing with no pressure just relaxing and trying out some tanks.

Obj. 252U is good only in the end, at the town I think, as it is not so fast and not too accurate. For the rest of the map Progetto of course, the whole mode in dominated by this single type of tank.

What I have:

T-34-3 is too inaccurate for these longer distances, Strv S1 is very limited in usage - even though I can make the most damage with it, STA-2 is still just an underdog as in randoms, and FV4202 is a worse Cent.5/1. KV-5 is totally obsolete of course. The only one I have and which is good for this mode is the LT-432 - Fast, good view range, acceptable gun, some chance to bounce shots here and there. I told about Obj.252U at the beginning. Regular tier 8s don't make enough credits, and as I need only silver now, I need to stick with prems.
