did anyone else notice his aiming reticle jumping and shaking in frontline?

I have that problem in randoms all the time. It gets even worse in frontline.
When i aim at someone on top of some hill and there is only sky in the background the reticle falls apart when it's not on target.
I've had this problem since i started playing as far as i remember and it was also present in previous version of frontline.
Also, i think it's a well known common issue....

that's not an issue...it's a "feature" which has been in the game since the beginning

Lads, calm down. Its normal when your hands is shaking. You have reason why. Online on eu cluster exploded with 160k+ online and we have event where you can farm every hr more than 1m credits without any boosters.

Can confirm - there is few elevated positions where tanks are almost invulnerable because you cant aim at them, your reticle just sticks to the sky-box and refuses to aim at an enemy.

I also had it a couple of time when aiming at the hull of a tank with sky as background.

Aim jumped up and down really fast several times as if it couldn't decide if I was aiming at tank or sky far behind it (without me moving cursor away from the hull).

only when im aiming at a tank that's ridge lining..... yes on some parts of the map the recticle jumps skyward

can it be the xvm mod, its the only i use and sometimes when the mod dont work because a new update im not aware of this jumping ?

Yes I have this problem on top 2 zoom levels on UDES. other tanks seems fine. couple be due to zoom modes ?

 

This is NOT the same problem with aiming at targets on ridge line near sky. that's a different issue which is also annoying. OP is talking about reticle jumping and shaking while in zoom modes.

Don't have this on my UDES but have the same issue as others when aiming at ridge line.

Can't say I have noticed any problems on FL though....

Aye, seeing it too.

 

I have server and client reticules and the server reticule is all over the place on ridgelines etc. It is not a small disparity either, the reticule jumps away from the enemy target completely.

 

Maybe it's a new mod/feature that I didn't uncheck that targets the arty automatically, you know, the game saying, "psst target here and fire"... muwahahahaaa

I have it in siege mode, it's annoying. I'm having stable fps though, but reticle is annoying, when i aim at the rock, ground or anything while in siege mode sometimes i notice shaking which distracts me, but don't cause glitches or fps drops .

Yes, happens. Super annoying in a game where I'm supposed to aim. Just like it happens on randoms.
