WoT Duke Nukem voice mod (7.3 update)
Cyborg7th
18 Dec 2011
This is an audio mod to change in-game crew voices to clips and quotes from the king himself - Duke Nukem. Some of the clips fit well, while others - such as crew deaths are just generic audio sounds from Duke. I forgot all 3 servers have their own forums/website attached to them, so re-posting my mod here as well. Enjoy.
Installation:
Back up the original files "ingame_voice.fsb" and "ingame_voice.fev" from world_of_tanks/res/audio folder
Put both "ingame_voice.fev" and "ingame_voice.fsb" from download into your world_of_tanks/res/audio folder
Using new mod folder (preferred method so you don't lose original files):
Copy the full audio folder from your World of Tanks res folder (World_of_Tanks\res\audio) into the new mod folder (World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.1.1\audio)
Overwrite ingame_voice.fev and ingame_voice.fsb in the new folder using the mod files.
WARNING: This mod is definitely NSFW or for kids - lots of profanity!

Dude you just made my game 10 times better with this mod! Thanks a lot !
I just lost my 1st game using this mod but I was laughing the whole time
P.S. Could you make the voice a little louder? Like an extra version?

I'm using it since they released it in NA forum and I'm enjoying it everyday.
I have some funny matches between Duke and my actions. One that make me laugh hard was when my T-50-2 was pumping some shells in the back of an Object 261 and Duke keeps telling me that My gun is bigger than yours.

Haha my god, i haven't laughed so hard in a long while. The sounds for bounces are absolutely perfect.
I can't wait to try out duke's voice combined with my T-50 tank.
One minor suggestion if i may: Can you pretty please do a version without the long lines? As funny as they are, they can get very repetitive.
I don't care either way, from now on, i will always have this voice pack simply because of the ding sounds. The duke says it like i do in my head: "shiiit!" "son if a bitch!"

For some reason when I use the files provided I can't get past the connect screen. I press 'Connect' and the wot logo appears with the revolving cog animation, and the 'Entering the game...' text, and it just stays stuck like that.
Anyone else having this problem, or found a solution?

I must do something wrong because it doesn't work on my client.
No voice after replacing the voice files.

Yeh the same thing happened to me first of all, no voices in game, when I changed the files whilst already logged in. When I tried to restart the game that's when the freezing at the connect screen started. Tried replacing the files several times no luck.

It works for 7.0, lets try to find out why you are having problems. First replace the mod files back with the original voice files and see if you are still having issues and let me know.

We can install this mod in 2 ways.
1. extract directly to audio folder: client stalls at log-in screen.
2.extract it to a different folder and copy those 2 files to audio folder: no voices at all.
Client is off in both case during file replacement.

Just to check, both of you are using the EU client? I want to try and replicate it. There may be some change in the audio files between EU and NA. If not then it will give me a starting point to debug.
