Ok so i just played a game on the ghost town map, i was a TD going obviously for the sniper hill, then suddenly a O-I heavy drove in front of me, drove backwards and pushed me back, i decided to go to the other bushes few meters away to not have to deal with him, again he came and drove in front of me blocking. then i got mad and intentionallyshot him and now my account got suspended for 1 hour.
How to deal with such idiotic behaviour and why do i get punished if the other player griefes me?

Send the replay to WG as phisics abuse. Or report him for unsportsman conduct.

But never shot them back, you only will get banned for team damage, that is what the griefers want.

im opted to not save replays since im never going to watch them anyway but considering this i'll probably turn it back on.

What you do is not what you did.  You made his day then encouraged him to do it to others. Just go somewhere else.

Ignore it.

Those people want attention so responding to their actions only adds fuel to the flame. Toxic people are not worth your time and attention.

yes i know i didnt respond appropiatly, i just didnt know anything else to do in that moment, i also heard so many times from good players that reporting is useless.
guess next time i'll just send in the demo but i doubt the people at WG have nothing better to do than watching player replays for griefers

Report, blacklist if necessary to highlight them to you in the future. Don't shoot and/or try not to respond. If it's particularly bad, send a report with replay and proof. 

 

They will eventually be dealt with as this is usually patterned behaviour and they will be caught.

By not engaging in idiotic behaviour of your own. Ignore him until he gets bored and goes and annoys someone else.

Just step away from the pc, get a drink or something. He'll be bored quickly when you don't respond

Report, possibly blacklist and move on.

 

Also, as a general gameplay tip, just because you're a td, you don't "obviously" go to the sniping hill. Please lose that mindset asap.

I wonder what would happen if you repetively ram such a tank doing damages ? Both tankers are banned for 1 hour ?

Plus chances are that the OI doesn't get hp damages.

You don't get an hour suspension for a single rage shot of a friendly tank...
Don't shoot the green tanks and you don't get a suspension

It is irritating when people decide to troll you, but just ignore them, I just go AFK and watch, if you don't react at all they soon get bored and move away
Fortunately it has only happened to me about once every 1000 games so I don't let it bother me

I had someone quite deliberately hassle me trying to stop me going in any direction on Tundra. You can desert, but that isn't the best course of action. I just alt-tabbed and came back after a couple of minutes to see if he'd got bored.

Play your game and completely ignore him/her/it. That will hurt him/her/it the most.

BTW if he/she/it doesn't stop, go away for a few minutes. It's a game and just one battle and you'll likely never meet him/her/it again.

The only thing you can do is report him/her/it, but there's hardy any evidence it works. Just don't ever react in any way, or he/she/it has won.
