I am getting a new pc, and since the changes in 1.4 regarding multi-core cpu's.

After 2 weeks of study and watching tests on you-tube, what I have in mind is this PC: Intel Core i7 8700, PALIT GeForce RTX 2060 GamingPro OC 6GB, Corsair vengeance , 16gb, 3000mhz ram
Intel SSD 760p Series and a 1TB Seagate HDD.

I will play via a 2018 4k Sony Bravia KD43XF8505.

edit, it wont do 4k, Nvidia says so!

I currently play from a laptop into the Sony via HDMI, but I have all settings on low, although it is a core i5 6200, it actually has no graphics card, just an onboard Intel HD520 or somehting. It plays great at avg 70fps, but all is set low.

Any tips regarding setup of Sony TV or PC?

Can I anticipate any problems with the setup I am getting?

Should be no problems with this setup. Although I myself would go for used 1080 instead of 2060 as rtx is for now just a gimmick and you are not going to use it on 2060 especially in 4k, that is if you value having playable framerate. Even more as 1080 is not only faster but have more Vram which you will more likely than not find limiting on 2060.

Other thing is I would also opt for AMD based setup considering you are going for non K intel cpu. At the price of 8700 you can get 2700x from amd which not only will be as fast or faster after mild OC but will offer you more core/thread and actually proper upgrade path in the future for 12c/24t Cpu if you will wish for it.

Don't get RTX man ffs.. right now it's so overpriced and useless for a game like WoT. Get a 1080ti or something.

Ryzens are a cost effective solution, more bang for your buck....

Maybe not as fast as Intel on single core but equal when using multi cores, as WoT does now.

It's your choice but don't discount them.
