I'm rather unimpressed by this at the moment. The marathon requirements get harder every time recently, and yet the gold value for this one is less than ever:

Progetto 46...…...11000

Caernarvon AX....10500

SU-130PM...…….10900

EBR 75 FL 10...….7000

I'll have to see what the asking price is, but at the moment this marathon generates little interest for me. Earning some of the rewards/credits will happen regardless of whether I chase the marathon, but in most cases they seem rather poor when you consider the effort. Especially when I will never use many of them (the only directive I have ever actually used was the 6th sense one). The I have to factor in the fact that I've played the tech tree tier 8 and tier X vehicles, and not especially liked them. The only thing the premium adds is the 2 shot autoloader. So, all in all, I'm wondering if I'll even attempt to add this to my garage, even by paying at a discount. Fortunately there is still some time to decide.

For anyone considering this particular marathon, make sure you get some experience driving the wheeled line...it would be sad to see someone invest the time and get the EBR 75 for free, only to complain that they don't like the mechanics when they actually drove one. The gaming experience is very different to most vehicles, and , like me, you may find that it isn't suited to you. Also, Take note of Jam in a Tank's advice...put a decal on the front of the Tier 8 premium and the Tier X...it's important to be able to quickly tell which way around the vehicle has landed when you hit a bump.

Here are some statistics I took for the last marathon I was playing for the SU-130PM

Time: 60 hours

Battles: 388

WR: 64.69%

WN8: ~2500

Average base EXP: 648

Vehicles used: Mostly Skorp G and in a few battles TVP 50/51 and Grille 15.

This marathon being harder, as expected, means more time invested. Average Joe will have to spend 85+ hours to complete this without whipping his credit card out.

I will most likely do it as I like to be challenged and I don't like to start something and not finish it.

Insert useless stuff make tank cost 60-70 euros.Play everyday to get a discount for a "niche" LT that most players cant even drive properly cause low skill and bad maps...I see no reason to be locked behind a 14 day grind resulting to a brake again or ending up playing arty to finish the marathon burned out.

If you are  a good player with a fleet of t10s and free time go for it :medal:.For the rest use the magical card if you really want the tank and dont bite the imaginary carrot WG is serving with all these "Discountathons". Korean MMOs have less grind than wot recently .

Tank has limited view range so only good for LT enthusiasts and unincoms, on the tier six one the aim bot mechanic does not even work, #walletclosed

That stage 9 is horrible, if you do it average Joe style as I usually do missions, 90 battles, atleast.

Man, Mission for commitment in Stage 7-10 really seem a bit crazy... Do we know the price yet? I really want the tank, not sure how many missions I can make / how much i want to spend though... Good vehicles just aren't available for gold anymore... What am i supposed to do with all the christmas gold?

Mission 7 is a bad joke.   They are not available for gold to encourage you to spend more actual money on top of the money you already spent to get that gold.

real issue is those stages that requaire victories...those are actualy the spot where allot of players would just give up at the maraton...all rest are not verry difreant that just grind xp...and those stages 7 and 9 ,who some find dificold...well,i thing would be actualy relaxing...all you need is be top 10...nomater win, lose,or how much xp ..

But agreed, time table is realy close...would be nice to have some more time

Do I WANT this flying bee? YES.

Do I NEED it? NO.

Will I "try hard" to take a maximum discount I can? NOPE.....

(It's enough for me one Super Long Term Marathon per this Year. I mean that which will take as long as ten weeks of fifty two per Year.)

Will I buy it with some discount after two weeks? I still do not know.

To be clear, I still have a big fun with ELC EVEN 90 in a "GIFT BOX" camouflage, so I'm not sure if I will have a desire to play with this bee instead of ELC.

That's all folks.

Its more like Paris -Dakar rally than a marathon. This challenge is too hard for me with that gaming time required. Basicly, It needs 600 matches approx. to copmlate. So, no thanks.  I wiss success to participants.

Definitely going to skip out on this one... missions with win condition is a big no no. Also if the estimate of 7k gold is right, then getting it later will be quite cheap compared to doing the campaign.

LOL, just no!

Din't bother with last two marathons ...and didn't bite and buy them ...even with discount achieved just through normal playing ...and won't this time either.

Have a bundle of gold that I could spend, but since that is not an option I'll just keep #walletclosed.  Once gold is spent, that should be around coming x-mas IF tanks are avaialble through in-game for gold....I just might open it up again and spend some more.

As game is now, it's enjoyable ...but not enough to keep spending money on. So start fixing some of the darn old issues and what not then we might talk :P

Won't bother with this one as I really don't have the time to spend on it, like the past 4-5 marathons. People do work you know... Well, people who need money to survive :). I cant stop thinking this type of events is likely to hurt the game more than help in the long run... Most players who will try to win it will burn so much time and effort into it they lose their interest in playing ok or cooperating with the team. I've seen it in the past events and will see it again I'm sure. Maybe we don't need marathons 3 or 4 times a year, just go back at longer, team-based weekend missions as we had a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed playing in a platoon back then, no so much these days...

Will this tank be more good in frontline than LT 432 ?  I would like to buy projetto 46 or T44-100 but are not on sale now.

SU-130PM...…….10900

(...)

For the same of comparison, I dug up some old figures for the CAX/SU, and added those for the EBR. Not including consumables, credits, two-three premium days (and speciul camo for the CAX and SU), this is the bundle content:

CAX:

x30 2h +50% credit reserves
x30 2h +50% experience reserves
x5 2h +300% crew experience reserves

SU-130PM:

x105 directives for a total bond value of 90+180+120+360+60=810 bonds (though I'd argue that the sixth sense and firefighting ones are the most relevant).
x10 2h +50% credit reserves
x20 2h +50% experience reserves
x25 +200% 2h crew experience reserves
x5 +300% crew experience reserves

Panache EBR:

x130 directives (20xSS+10xOC+15xSH+10xFOC+15xNC+45xEF+15xVP) for 1000 bonds total (of which 20xSixthSense, 45xEFirefighting are, arguably, most useful).
x10 +200% 2h crew experience reserves
x10 +50% 2h credit reserves

Again, no, I'm not counting consumables, credits or equipment. Seems like the bundle's been getting quite a bit slimmer - remains to see if that will get reflected in the price. I'm not hopeful - the EBR seems to have a "normal" T8 LT gold value, and the bundle lacks, I'm guessing, perhaps €10-15 euros' worth in reserves and another €10-15 in vehicle price, compared to the SU-130PM.

That bundle is quoted on the forum as having cost €62,28. Sure hope there'll be a price adjustment, but not expecting much. Bonds don't exactly have a conversion value, and if you put the price too low, you'll get most able to purchase it for normal price at 50-60% - which makes you wonder why they'd do a marathon in the first place.

I think it's better to compare EBR 75 FL 10 with BC 12t than with LT 432.

I do not see any real advantage of EBR comparing to BC while having in mind 3x3km map.

https://tanks.gg/com...l-10?t=b-c-12-t

TBC, it is one - EBR is premium, so You can make more Silver with it.

Not gonna bother and not going to spend any cash.

The amount of marathons ans super grinds is getting way too much and too often.

I do not need one special after another and certainly not two at the same time.

There is no chance of achieving 370 games in a row with over 1k base exp - even when best players will play in a platoon they will not win everything and will not get epic medal in every lost game - therefore it is impossible.

Look at the best players at wot-life - most of them have less than 1k average exp and I am pretty sure that the ones who are over it are having it with premium account (that do not count...).

In a 50 in a row - I would say possible. Maybe even in 100 battles in a row. But over 100 battles very unlikely and over 200 battles I see it as impossible due to RNG, random MM, some random ammo rack explosion, fire etc.

Well it's not impossible for 50 games in a row as I have earned 1.1k average base XP without premium time on T-43 but then again, I played it with +4k wn8 and +80% wr (now stats a bit lower as got few 0 games because tk, never tell people in-game if you are going to three mark a tank with under 70 battles)...

On my three marked 252U I have +1k average xp with a maximium of few days of premium time from missions during 200 battles (I don't buy premium time), so I am highly confident that it is 1k avg base on that. But yes, only handful of players can do that confidently.

Edit: And I haven't platooned with those tanks so I think it could be higher? Or then platoonmates would just steal the xp.. :)

Will there be also non-bundled version available to buy? Or we will have to wait like 3 months again to get non-bundled version? Not everyone have time to grind this marathon and if you want to buy bundle you have to reach 50-60% discount.
