yes, at 50-70 euro including a bttld of crap you don't want to pay actual money for

It's bound to be quite the 'bundle', if the EBR follows normal pricing for T8 LTs and, presumably, follows traditional marathon pricing.

I'm still a bit split on the matter of marathons.

I appreciate that Wargaming give players the opportunity to grind premiums for free. However, the bundle/discount idea is kind of weird. I don't really see the logic in it. You grind yourself a discount - but at the same time unlock the rewards. You don't get the feeling that this is a discount that's worth using.

At about 60-70% off, you've done a lot of grinding that doesn't impact the price of the vehicle itself. Sure, you'll pay less, but what you get when you click 'Purchase' is actually not discounted, unless you're past the nominal price of the vehicle (likely around the 60-70% mark).

I bought the Caernarvon AX at 70-80% off. It was a good deal. Nice tank, and I got a lot of useful stuff (credit boosters) - all for a price less than what the tank would've sold for. I was happy with it. The SU-130PM, well, I ended up at 60/70% discount, and figured out that if I bought it, I'd pay nominal price for a tank that I didn't really want, without any rewards that I wanted.

Quite a lot of grinding missions at the moment with Front Lines & this.  WG must have worked out it's good way to boost player battle numbers but it does start to feel like a full time job.

Stage 7 requirements doesn't seem right, too hard. Harder than stage 8 requirements for some reason.

Just looked at it and yeah, stage 7 is a joke!  I guess they want people to get no further than stage 6, give up and buy it at 60% discount.

Not this time, thanks. Frontline has powered me out, I have loads of premium tanks already, and I'm not fond of wheeled tanks anyway.

Good luck to all taking part!

This marathon will require at least around 3.5-4h daily (optimistic) on my unicum level on tier 9-10 tanks, while I appreciate chances to get these premium tanks for free these requirements seems to get harder and harder. If this is the way to go, then it is but I still think these requirements should be a touch easier.

So, it is expected to be +/- 500 battles without doing mastery... +/-4h gameplay each day... nice grind.

At least the pure XP grind was consistent. Now the victory mission depends on your teammates too.

I think pretty much all of you have failed to look at the conditions needed to be met to get this tank for even close to free. Some of them are insane and that just to complete 1 level, 10% discount each time. These missions are getting worse everytime and it seem too many of you are content to be 'lapdogs' and sit there panting like your being given a treat.

Im sure a couple of well known youtubers will be doing there breakdown videos in the next day or 2, personally im expecting there calculations to maske this mission about 30% worse in terms of expected time outlay but more the fool you guys for being happy about it.

I enjoy this game but I just had two weeks Soldiers of Fortune and a week of Frontline, so I'm just going to buy the package and enjoy the Spring weather.

If you purchase the bundle on day one, you pay a price for all the goods. Tank, consumables, equipment and whatnot. If you're grinding for a discount, up to a point you'll actually receive the goods in the bundle that you're supposedly earning a discount on.

Pardon the stupid example - it's what came to mind. Think of it as a fruit basket instead. One big pineapple and a lot of apples, pears and whatnot (of which only the former is the actual attraction - the other stuff is likely to go to waste or something you can pick for free in the garden).

They give you the apples, pears and the basket while earning the discount - but at some point they tell you that you've earned a 70% discount on the fruit basket - which is now only the pineapple.

If this was a special pineapple (or you really like pineapple), you might want to buy it still, and you'd probably be happy that you earned a discount on the premium of being a special pineapple.

If you didn't like pineapple, you'd have little incentive to get it - because you'd know very well that the claimed 'discounted price' is, in fact, the same price as the nominal price of the pineapple. Of course, if you do one more task, you may earn a discount that also covers part of (or the whole) pineapple. In that case, you actually have incentive to use it. I think pineapple's allright, but wouldn't get it unless it was on discount.

Makes sense? On the EBR it arguably does - since it's very much a "special fruit". As of now, for me, I might buy it if I happen to play enough to get close to the tank's nominal price. That's what I would be prepared to buy - because I do actually want to buy the tank. I do not, however, want to do a grind to unlock the normal price of the tank.

I've calculated how long it's going to take the long way. With an average base XP of 650 per battle and 50% win rate, it's going to take about 530 battles. With each battle taking on average 6 minutes + 1 minute loading and queuing for a total of 7 minutes per battle you get about 62h, which makes it 4h25min per day for 14 days straight. Auch.

If you don't have tier 9 or 10 tanks.

1000Xp/game should secure all stages.

That's 370 battles minimum, ~28.5\day.
