This has become impossible to play with XVM  players. You have to lock the folder mode !!! I DO NOT WANT TO SHARE MY STATISTICS WITH PLAYERS WHEN I AM IN THE FIGHT !!!I can record my battles to see ,how so many XVM focus on me.I m not ,,purple,, player,BUT I JUST WANT TO LOCK MY STATS!!!!And I'm sure that many more players want the same thing as I. Have you wondered if this XVM gives you some improvement in the game, the answer I know is, NO !!! sry for bad english

Why blaming XVM? This is not (only) an XVM problem as there are a lot of non-XVM mods which do the same (showing player statistics).

I really do understand you not wanting to let others know your stats, but this is a general Wargaming problem. They have to change policies and block exchange of user data.

>can record my battles to see ,how so many XVM focus on me

They shoot at whom it is convenient to shoot, but who does not have good statistics ;-)

I'm sorry, but you're here in the mod-forum, not in the mimimimimi-forum:child:

Also , in real world tank battles , Tanks don't fire at each other after looking at each other statsitcs in real time battles.

Imagine if on battlefield German Tanks already knew which Russian T-34s have weak commanders+crew (in this case players) and then just focussed or gone after those particular ones 1st.

I mean in real practical battles scenario with suppose a group of random T-34s facing against random Tiger tanks.

Now Could Tiger tanks tell exactly Oh!!! which T-34s have weak Commanders+crew in them & which don't.

so they should take them out 1st. They didn't know many times.

I mean then it's not a WW2 kind of real world battle gameplay.

Food for thought Wargaming.

i mean did Tank Commanders+crew had XVM in real time in real world battles. i don't think so.

Now those who vote for NO. you know why They don't wanna get XVM be removed ,

cuz they wanna take some natural ADVANTAGE in matches.

Like some strong players going after some new players. n This screws up game for the new players into game not giving them much of a chance to learn n improve also slowly in game.

The strong players don't wanna face now random players , not knowing what kind of Surprising player is behind the tank , is it good or bad ? cuz if it is good they might get their asses knocked off.

or is it some noob who is learning n might give them a Surprise, they didn't expect.

like many a times, i have seen some strong player tries to go upon me thinking me to be a weak or noob player , and i surprise hitting him sometimes really hard when in some particular tanks i play good with.

, cuz my statistics are not good in general , CUZ When i started playing Wot i Threw up lot of games without caring much about stats , and sometimes Yoloing around or hitting n dying early around , not caring or trying to survive longer & laughing. LMAO. and Also i am not yet stats padding like many other players. Now Such players have bad stastics , but then they stat pad in some OP tanks like T67 , E25, Progetto etc. to get their Winrate & Hit ratio get good. BUT IN REAL they are still not that good players. Think :)! they merely try to show of themselves as okay or good player even if they may be not.

Please read 2nd post.

Blaming XVM only shows your weak knowledge about XVM and mods at all. There’s no function in XVM for which there’s not an alternative mod without XVM.
I use XVM for some graphics (just cosmetic) which are not possible with flash (or not for me because I can’t develop in flash). But to see who has bad values there’s no need for XVM. As I often play TDs I just need to watch out for heavies driving over plain fields or trying to hide behind too small bushes, for meds parking right behind windows of houses or lights driving around and hiding in a bush right after being spotted. Sorry, but this has nothing to do with XVM or mods.

That's just an Indirect way of finding bad moves made by some player. Now it is not necessary that always only noob/new players only make these moves always.

Sometimes new players also don't like to make any stupid moves.

Now a Direct way of finding such players , is when stats are shown while ingame battle , n when they are spotted n located on map , n hence some other expert players try to focus on

such players first , instead of going on for the other opponent expert players. it's then like trying to go on after n focus on such new players only first just for securing easy kills.

Now , if there would have been No stats shared inmatch by XVM/Non XVM mods , then There would have been No Direct way of foretelling whether some player is a new or expert

, just like in real world tank battle in which you never know , which would have been more of sort of Fair play. cuz then you or one would be also be too careful even against new players for not knowing whether they are new or old , and thus more expert players won't only focus on one target.

imho , to make battles kind of real worldly , No stats should ever be disclosed by any XVM/Non XVM mods.

As in real world tank battles , Tanks don't know & fire at each other after looking at each other stats in real time battles.

Common sense!

What makes sense is this is a video game and not real world.
