5x Bonus - for someone grinding the line, that poops on the old rewards, so I completely disagree with you - the new set-up favors those still to grind the line, whereas I thought the old set-up was much more advantageous to an older player with the tier X already in the garage (or close to being unlocked).

 

From personal experience I have only 4 tier X tanks, and never got involved in old format - much more involved this time.

you misunderstood a bit

i said that consumables have nothing to do with progress, not X5

 

like i said...thats the only better thing

 

anyway...

when we will know the next ToT? Infos are very important to know what line to prepare

one of the best feature of voting was that we knew what was next in usefull time

I know the ‘consumables’ part was the bit you were talking about. My point is that for a grind - the 5x XP for outstrips the old rewards alone - minimum 30 of them if you logged in daily. The rest is then an added bonus!

I've enjoyed this. Especially that juicy 5x for the second win. Also I like the added missions - they keep me playing more, which probably is what WG wanted. So yeah, clever. I like it.

The entire line is useless. Playing the mauschen is absolut torture. You are dpendent on team, map and you get penned in the cheeks without any kind of problems no matter how you angle.

 

Today a Skoda was shooting my lower plate. First shot - driver dead (had no idea the driver sits between the tracks on the floor exactly in front of the lower plate. Used the med kit, skoda shoots again, guess what: driver dies again.

 

Wargaming and their game - what a joke.....

sorry...but its perfectly fine to get critical damage when a shell pens your tank. In fact, even oposite...this game allows WAAY to much survivability and criticals chances are way too low. Its just stupid to get enemy shells inside your tank andyour crew or modules to be ,....just fine, untouched.

 

dont know about you but for me this like works perfectly if...i dont meet gold spam

the only problem with this is P2W in ammo... THIS make them disgusting to play...

The worst thing about this top of the tree is the Mauerbrecher rental. My lord what a dreadful tank, avoid!

Did u get to keep the crew that comes with Mauerbrecher or not?

 

And BTW, i miss the 300% crew and 100%xp / 2 hrs reserves, that used to come with top of the tree. I noticed Wargaming reduced a lot the number of personal reserves prizes for all missions, including recent french marathon. Also no +50% credits for 2 hrs reserve anymore.

What I realy liked is the 5X xp boost,but not because of the xp itself. Rather than the TOP 10 win cirtira. It would be useful also on the first of the day bonus.

Yeah i liked it as well. When the team pushes too hard and you cant catch up with the frontline. you simply stay back, get very low xp, but you get another chance to do decent XP on your 5x game.

Me too, many of the missions and specials are only really truly rewarding for the unicum, super tankers who to be honest need a leg up about as much as I need a bunk up. Not at all! This is much more like it. It rewards those of us that love and play the game regardless of the fact that we are no good. I am much better than I used to be but I am still mostly pretty average or below but occasionally it all comes together and I show skill I just cannot seem to consistently produce. It is most frustrating  but should not really matter I love this game and play for hours and I am the type of World of Tanks player that really needs a hand. Qb and other brilliant players can win everything and anything but I cannot, I am lucky to get a 40% discount on the new discounted 10% per level tank marathons and believe me a lot of effort goes in to getting that 40% In short this new approach seems fairer and as Badz360 says, "I am far more involved this time". I would love more Tier X tanks, I think I have five so far and two of those I practically killed myself getting because they were being removed and I got the replacement Tier X to go with the one I ground, the Fv215B and its replacement the Super Conqueror and the other Tier X Brit Tank Destroyer that was replaced with the Badger giving me 4 Tier X's for 6 months or more of play, play, play. I also got too Tier X on the German medium E line all on my lonesome. I just do not understand these people that can grind a line in a few weeks or a day I have been playing 6 years and I just told you where I am. If I am grinding towards a Tier X I might expect to get there some time this year......... hopefully. Good Luck Guys. Yee Haa
