I do not care about the branch of Maus, TBH. At least till the times of appearance of promised changes of MM.

But these new missions of ToTT are nice and may stimulate some players to research more branches.

I've been wanting to XP to the other 2 lines from the Tiger(P), so I think this offers a very good opportunity to dust it off, with those extra XP bonuses. Very nice rework of the TotT events, making it way more interesting. Kudos Wargaming

I already have the Maus and i am sure it is a good tank, but if only I could figure out how to angle it so I don't get penned.

 

Tbh, I think the real life designers got it wrong in not giving it angled sides like the VK100 which I think was a blue print, flat surfaces are never a good idea.

So I can buy a bundle which includes 20,000 XP on the Maus - which is in reality either useless or is an extra cost in Gold to convert it to free XP ?

 

I'm grinding the VK36.01H & the VK 30.01P so the x5 a day will be useful, but I won't be buying the booster bundle

tbh thw real life designers got it wrong thinking this immobile waste of steel and man power could have been useful for anything.

Ok this ToT seems more generous than the previous one. Much more generous. 

 

However MAUS being one of the oldest tanks in the game, i wonder how many players dont already have it since ages.

The only tempting about this is maybe rebuying the VK100.01, that was a really nice tank and i shouldn't have solt it...

i hate you for grinding the line, i hate everyone who has the tank with pure passion. Tank is broken and should be changed or removed (specially its HE fair ammo),

 

to answer your Q: no it's not, with MAUS you actually have to play and pay attention to what is happening, with type 5 you press R three times, fire without aiming, having at least 3500 damage, blocked 5k and win by the end of the battle

I chose the Stb1 line.

But WG gave me a HT n° VI crew to use and impossible HT missions without the Type 5 ...

Nice revamp of Top of the tree event!!

And at the right time for me. I keep delay (i like mobility ) to play Maus and Type 5 to do  HT15 for Obj 260 and some blocking missions for the bloc. I guess this is the right incentive to play Maus and to do those missions

I like the new format of WG choosing the top of the tree tanks. Thumbs up for that! Also the daily xp bonus for the whole tank line. Double thumbs up!

 

But for Heaven's sake, why do you have to sell XP? XP (besides bonds) is the only commodity in the game for which you actually have to play the game. Nobody can take shortcuts to get highly skilled crews. Yes, you need to convert it to free XP using gold so you pay twice but you open the door for essentially pure 100% pay-to-win. Yes, it's fine selling the 5 x XP boosters, you still need to actually play the game (well) to get benefits from those. But selling XP convertible to free XP immediately, for cash? You just open the door to sooooooo many problems.
