ehm ... btw ... what Carnival?

End-of-winter carnivals, festivities, in Europe it is called karneval, fastelavn, shrovetide, Fastnacht/Fasnacht/Fasnet/Fastabend/Fastelovend/Fasteleer/Fasching, Apokriés/Αποκριές, Busójárás/Farsang, Užgavėnės, Carnaval/Vastenavond, Fašiangy, Sumardagurinn fyrsti (this one is a little bit later here in Iceland, as we don't have spring), etc.

Everywhere in the northern hemisphere they celebrate the end of winter, beginning of summer-spring many times with costumes to chase away winter.

Please check on the links. 23rd February leads to 7th anniversary and 7th anniversary leads to the same page from where I'm opening it.

Can you also check for me now, please?

But this is far easier to use than B&Q paint ;)

Nice, really good to see you are offering unique and event-themed camos and styles in the shop. I will gladly fork some $$ for something like this.

Spending money on yet another OP tank, which I buy just to keep up with the meta and stay competitive (bad move on my part, because it just encourages you to release even more OP tanks) feels great because I think I'm a better player than the guy I just killed, but it's something that really affects the balance of the game in the long run.

Some suggestions for future camos, if I may:

- I personally am not a big fan of the WG Fest styles or the Gamescom one, they are just too out-of-place for my taste. They don't really look like they were designed to make a tank blend in with the environment and look way to detailed for someone to have painted something like that on a tank. I would have preferred these to look like an actual tank camo and just have an emblem/decal that hinted to the event it's tied to (like WG Fest and/or Gamescon) .But if you really want to keep these, at least add some wear and tear to them? Other camos are usually faded or less detailed in the areas of a tank that are more prone to wear and makes them look a bit more realistic. Including that in may have made them look a bit better, perhaps?

- like WoT_RU_Doing said, it would be nice if the styles had different coloring for summer/winter/desert

Will be on the feedback.

Those are the best looking camouflages and they match with soviet tanks. I'm planning to buy T-62A soon (depending on silver) and this would fit nicely on the tank. The reason I haven't bought it already is the price. It feels a little bit too much for only some painting. But maybe I will drink one less beer in the pub and buy one camo instead. :D

This very much keeps me from buying them. Without a difference look for summer, desert and winter they are not worth it for me. Too boring.

This is what WG should sell, not OP premium tanks

finally a proper sale !

thats what must bring money to the game not P2W, game breaking and damaging content !

buy things like this if you want a healthy and longterm game like me, and spit on P2W things like Defender !

When did you last buy paint?

£5 would just about buy a single litre of cheap emulsion.   For exterior metal paint, which we need here, the cheapest tin at B&Q s £10 for only 250ml which won't get you anywhere with even a light tank.:)

WGfest camos are super cool, but no way I would pay 8 € for one.

The rest is just big fat meh.

While I'm not a huge fan of WG's premium shop shenanigans, I think it's nice that they sell camo patterns. Beats selling a certain tank, and they look, ahem, apt for an arcade game. Maybe I'm shallow, but it's nice to stand out a bit. It's not exactly a steal, but the price isn't that bad. I've gotten more enjoyment (time, quality) out of my Halloween and 'fest '18 camos each than last time I went to the cinema. Also, you lose literally nothing by not getting it. Win-win!

A few thoughts, however:

- It would be far better to bundle with boosters. I'm actually not hugely tempted to buy these, simply because I may play tanks I don't actually want to have that experience on.

- It really detracts from the 'exclusivity' feeling when WG have to resell old patterns. I'm of course happy to have the chance to get the 2017 'fest scheme, but it does detract from the 'feeling'. (I'm guessing the pricing is part of the idea here)

- Last, but not least, the camo system is still a mess. Some vehicles have permanent camo, some camos are provided as 'paints', others again are 'schemes' that can't be customized. It does not ring well with how you're introducing customization features.

- The bundle is OK priced, but not more than that. I suspect that most are not keen on all of the patterns and/or have some from before. If the bundle, say, came without the missions I'd happily spend the extra bucks on camos that I don't really want - because the pricing difference would be minimal.

- The presentation isn't great. Nice pictures, but it requires a lot of clicking. It's not really tempting as-is. Perhaps this could be a weekly thing, and the tank in the in-game garage could feature that particular pattern?

May be a very nooby question but hey here goes.

So I buy one of the cammo schemes and apply to a vehicle. . .

Do the 15 or 10 X5 experience packages apply to just the vehicle on which I place the cammo ?

EG. I buy WG Fest 2017 and place on the Lowe.

Does the X5 experience apply only to the Lowe or any vehicle I play from the garage after playing the Lowe say 5 times ?

So play Lowe 5 times get X5 experience then play Tiger P without special cammo.

Does the X5 experience carry onto Tiger P ?

Hope you get my drift.

The x5 experience apply to any and/or every vehicle that has completed the "first win of the day" requirement.

The 7th anniversary camo is a set of summer/desert/winter camo and not a style.  Which means you can also add emblems etc to it.
