You should be able to know who is a tomato on your team, that you cannot count on, and even if you don't have xvm, you should be able to check/confirm after battle if a player who acted retardedly in game, or chimped out in chat, or ping spammed, really is a tomato. Also you should know, if a person who makes ingame request is a tomato, or knows what he is doing.

You talk alot about tomatos... oh wait... :hiding:

I think I see more comments about people's stats here in the forum than ingame.

I don't and in-game they just create a lot of toxicity all the time while on the forum they are a valid tool to judge ones argument in certain situations, like for example the OP/UP threads about tanks or knowledge of mechanics etc.

Personally i dont care.Noone focuses me,so my gameplay experience isnt affected. They could at least keep stats viewable for the same team .Its nice to know if someone worth supporting or not.I see streamers without xvm feeling frustrated that the 30k battles 42% WR and 300wn8 couldnt land a shot or why they didnt support them.Unless you are bluenicum/unicum being xvm focused we have more pressing issues in wot...

At least we getting blueprints .

If there are two of your allies in trouble how do you prioritise which one to go and try and save?

If you are on a flank alone, and there are two low health enemies which one do you prioritise in killing first?

Stats ingame are a piece of tactical intelligence, how you use it is your gameplay decision. Somewhat similar to the allies breaking the engima code.

But you should judge people on what they say, not by their winrate. Just as ingame. Good players can do stupid things and say stupid things and bad players can do good things and say good things.

Someone that is bad at something often lacks the insight to realize that it's they that are being bad or lacking knowledge that's the issue not that something is being unfair or unbalanced etc. Which is something we very often see in the threads here on the forum, someone claiming that something is broken, someone is cheating, something is over/under-powered etc, based on their stats and arguments in general you can quite quickly asses what exactly is going on. For example someone complaining about invisible tanks shooting him/her can be either a lack of understanding of the spotting mechanics or like the bug a couple of years ago when the entire enemy team didn't render in on the screen, looking at the stats of the player claiming something often gives you a good idea what's going on and the viewpoint of that particular player.

Yeah I think so as well but to me it seems like you read a lot between the lines and distort the actual meaning of what I said.

I really don't understand what you guys are expecting to happen hiding the stats? Or what kind of problem are you trying to resolve in the first place since i really can't find one related to stats? Could someone enlighten me? :amazed:

Well you multiple things that originate from in-game stats, the most common one is toxicity in various forms, you also have the ones that give up as soon as they see the predicted WR percentage and/or their teams stats and decided that drowning/suicide is the only option. Then you have player focus, mainly from arty but it's also quite common that players yolo good/great players in situations that they wouldn't had if they didn't knew the players stats, you also have the less obvious advantage by having access to in-game stats which on most maps grant you quite a good ability to predict the locations certain players will take or at least aim for.

Dude enable "Recieve messages only from contact list" and enjoy your xvm camo :).Plus people ignoring you in battle because stats can give them a nice suprise if things go well.

I remember watching Orzanel (s.unicum player/Twitch streamer/Youtuber ) playing a 500wn8 account from a friend.It was hilarious,all the hate messages and accusations."How can this tomato outplaying me " .HAX,AIMBOT .Imagine the frustration of 2k+ wn8 players getting farmed by a "tomato".Nice memes ;)

Hide it in game that is what is the most important as it has an impact, if people want it hid outside the game then I suppose that is their prerogative though it matters less there.

What is funny is its an option in WoWs, but then you have the same people coming in the forums there complaining about rigged MM or a ship is bad, and they then have their stats hidden, which basically confirms to everyone that they are bad.
