I am at the level 3 because after i seen the price of this package and that bundle full of useless directives for average players I played less more than usual.

Same, in fact i haven't even opened the game since the marathon started, no point in wrecking my nerves dealing with reckless marathon chasers, i'm well stocked on reserves and credits so no interest in the stage rewards either.
The only bad thing is that, since it was a marathon prize, WG are gonna inflate the price of the EBR when they sell it in the future, and there is no way i'm paying 35-40 euros for a light tank!

60 € package for a light tank. Those cost around 25 €. So a grind to level 6 would turn this tank into something regular? No thanks. Will be on sale for 20 € in about half a year.

I was going for 50% off but playing the 6x6 and seen how weak and useless it is made me think that a premium version ain't worth it.
The wheeled tanks are weak! and the bundle for the prem tank is full of stuff i don't use a.k.a. directives.
For a tank that you have to hide behind the arty because arty has more view range, not worth a penny.
Everybody is cursing you to spot and if u spot you die in 1-2 shots and you don't even spot anything.
These vehicles need to be buffed to a level of a light tank! They need HP, View range! the least.

DIrectives are good only for competitive players, for me have zero value and they fill the bundle with these useless directives. At least the option to sell these directive for 50 % of their initial cost in bonds would be something.

Bad tank, bad bundle and high price bundle. Personally I don't care. I wait for Projetoo 46 and T 44-100 to be in the shop.

"Last chance to get it.." ?? Like not in a million years .... You'll put it up for sale again and again ...and again ...and again.

Ofc like said above at inflated prices, that I guess fewer and fewer are interested in paying? I for one will hold of on this, like I've done on others recently added, until you include them in-garage so I can get them for gold :coin:

Just why the quack should I ever then buy stuff like lootboxes at x-mas if I can't spend the gold on anything useful?

There is a limit to how much crew I can retrain, even if I got one crew for each of my some 220 + normal tanks in garage :hiding:

tl:dr add to in-game for gold, until then #walletclosed :)

I quite like the French Wheeled Vehicle line & have reached Tier IX in the tech-tree, but I've given up on this marathon already (the first time I've bailed on one before hitting at least 60-70% discount) - the grind is too much & the rewards quite meagre compared to previous events, so it's a "no" from me, I'm afraid :(

The best thing about the wheeled vehicles is... how they die.

But in another way it's also the worst thing about them. Like when the tires leave the ground for 0,1 second and then you crash when they make contact again. And you just look at the screen in disbelief and close the game so that you can play the replay to see if that actually happened. And be like yeah that happened.

Useless tank for too much money (even with discount). Skip.

Looks like the community is wheely loving this particular marathon :teethhappy:

Hopefully sales will be lacklustre enough to make WG rethink their pricing/rewards strategy on future marathons.

Definitely NOT.

I have done 7th stage yesterday, and if I will be lucky to grind through 8th or 9th, then maybe I will consider to buy the wheelie.

But -70% - naaah.

I've really enjoyed this marathon.

I saw before day 1 that the grind requirements had been boosted since the previous marathon.

I also have little interest in these vehicle.  The early spot, yolo/suicide, mario karts style is fun for a few games but the novelty soon wears off.

And the price is just absurd.

So i missed the first day, I missed a couple of days a few days after that, I missed a couple more at the end of last week and yesterday I watched TV all afternoon and didn't come on until after 9pm.  First time I've done that on a Sunday in probably 2 years.

I think I've completed stage 4 but I'm not fussed  about whether I get stage 5 or not.

The premium provides 3 potential advantages over the standard tech tree premium.

1) More credits ... I have a dozen tier 8 prems, so this is completely unneeded by me.

2) Crew training.  This is valuable if you intend to train several crews and have several "keepers".  I've already ground the other French light line to tier 10 and have 3 crews already.  I've little excitement for the wheeled line and so doubt there are any keepers.

3) The fun of it.  Is it any more fun than the tech tree equivalent ?  I've no idea.  The "fun" of these wheeled vehicles is pretty niche anyway.  The "straight to tier 8" is of little value here.

Given these factors, the question has to be asked, how much are these advantages (over the tech tree tank) worth as a bit of downloadable content ?

Personally I'd say 75p.  Perhaps £1.  Certainly not worth £5.
