why can you not stop barrels from passing into and thru solid objects?  like buildings tanks rocks and the such. and they can fire and damage you . I just dont understand.

my tank will not go into these spaces and it is a part of my tank.I guess that is why it is called a cartoon game.

Because players are bad as is and it adds unnecessary complexity and eliminates initiative in closed brawls.

And it took seventy three thousand battles to come to this conclusion?

It's not called a cartoon game, it's an arcade game. Those are two different concepts.

Imagine how fun it would be if a tank that is taller and heavier than your tank came and pushed you up against a wall, and you couldn't shoot back at him because your turret could only turn until your barrel hit his tank so it pointed off to the side.

Quantum physics.

It can happen in real life too.

Only difference is that in WoT it happen all the time.

It's the sort of stuff that even more 'serious' games consider "realistic, but not very fun". Just like it would be "realistic, but not very fun" to model common issues with in-game vehicles, ammunition loadout, lack of crew training.

And, as always, tanks have hitpoints in WoT (and even in a certain game without hitpoints, it's considered "realistic, but not very fun").

Because of reasons you should know by now. If not, try to think about it for 10 seconds.

Also, no idea who would call this a cartoon game. That would be stupid.
