I am not good enough for tier 10 so that was never my endgame anyway. I was going for 2 or 3 tech tree tier 8's and for the rest tier 5-6.

With more and more  premium tanks that are better than even tier 9 tech tree tanks there is no use for me to grind to tier 8 cause i will get butchered by premiums and tier 10's.

So it is either buy more tier 8 premiums or have a lot of fun in tiers 5-6, collecting a lot of nice tech tree tanks. I don't mind those lower tiers at all so that is the cheapest option for me and a good way to collect a lot of beautiful tanks. The obvious downside for  WG being that i don't need premium time or premium tanks for that at all.

Either way that suits you, the key to the monetisation strategies of WoT is that we aim to be appealing to as many people as possible, it's good to see we managed to be appealing to you too!

You certainly do, i love this game. And i think that everybody can find some strategy within the game, wether you want to collect every premium there is or wether you want to stay as much f2p as possible. Really well done!

Having said that, customer retention seems to be somewhat of a problem lately so it would be wise to listen to your paying customers...it's completely free feedback and an priceless gift...

I missed the M41 on xmas - and it was the only day I was late to check out. But this may very well replace it on my wishlist. I'm not so much into playing heavies or anything with armor as nowadays everyone and their granny is using "premium" ammo. The game was much better when it was limited. They're spamming prem ammo on arties and lights even if they're the only ones left. So why play something with armor, when you can get much more out of the game in a light tank. When you achieve something you actually do achieve something and it's much more rewarding experience.

The thing is that not all paying customers have the same desire or goals as you mention yourself. You give people on the forums a poll on what colour blue the sky is and expect 100 different answers and people who don't play any more/never played to say the sky is rubbish and is P2W.

i was not referring to myself tbh as someone WG should listen to. You have to look beyond all toxicity and negativity on the forums and then you will find quite some pearls of advice coming from (very) experienced players that already invested a lot of money in WOT. Just don't forget them, they will most likely keep spending a lot more than the average Joe but more important...the average Joe like me listen to what they have to say.

This is true for many people, but also a lot of people who are quite vocal on the forums are not always going to be people who pay and there's even some who no longer play :D
