Sixth Sense should go off also when an enemy arty spots your tracer.

Because it means you are spotted and that is what Sixth Sense is for.

Make it happen Wargaming.

Except you're not spotted.

Your shell is spotted.

So assuming that your shell has sixth sense, it would get notified after 3 seconds, or somewhere halfway towards the target.

i never even thought about 6th sense on a arty.

if u stay in the same spot after u shoot then u deserve to die.

do not sit in the obvious arty places, i always blind shoot them.

I always relocate between shots, but I still need to know when I am spotted by ANY enemy, that is what Sixth Sense is for.

Some humans have 6th Sense built into their brains. It's usually referred to as "Common Sense", though.

It tells you that you should move after firing so the enemy arty can't hit you if they see your tracer.

Happy to say it's a free skill and doesn't require research, but it can't be acquired through common means, sadly.

You can tell your tracer was spotted by the shells landing where you were previously.

But that may be just blind firing into popular arty places without spotting a tracer.

Like your own thread pls

If you sit in an obvious spot, you deserve to get one-shotted. Which rarely happens even with good counterbattery players.

On some maps like Mines, where there is no non-obvious spot you'll just have to deal with it, I guess...

Arty should get a revamp, where they increase their movement speed and HP and improve their reload time, but also make the sector the arty fired from marked on the map, to tell players "it came from here" and they should do a counterbattery tutorial, so that the players, who don't know about tracers know that they can counter the enemy arty and it can counter them. Also - make arty shell tracers more visible. Maybe add a dust effect when they fire - dust will raise when a high-caliber gun fires.

I would even improve on that and make shell tracers visible again for each and all vehicles, whether spotted or not.

and ban "special mod users" extra hard, given WG takes the neccessary steps to actually take server side replays.

No, arty shells don't travel so quick.

One suggestion to counter the arty issue was to actually make them visible for 3 seconds or so every time they fire. That suggestion was by Lemmingrush.

There's some sense to it.

You mean like in the other tank game would roughly give the area the arty was located on the mini map to the enemy arty.. after 3 shots would be visiable by enemy arty if it didnt move at least a minuim distance between shots. Or how WOT use to play more visable tracer especially from arty..easier to spot and do counter battery..
