Done with my VK100 and about to buy the Mauschen.

What equipment should I run?

Previous VK100 equipment: Vstab, Vents, Spall liner.
:)

P.s- do you really need a Vstab on a tank that barely does 20kmh and is mostly standing while firing, sidescraped?

Rammer, vents and optics so you can give all wankers trying to snipe you the finger.  :child:

I noticed that the gun rammer only gives me like a 1,7 second faster reload and not even an extra shot on the top gun. I never missed that second faster reload. I always pick gun rammer if it gives me an extra shot

I found that Spall Liner was very helpful.

Arty and Anime tanks love shooting Vk100P-Maus.

My 2 cents on the matter is Rammer + Vents + Spall Liner.

If you are feeling extra brave, drop rammer for toolbox and with full repairs you repair tracks in 3-3.3 seconds.

Vstab, Vents, Rammer.

BIA, Repairs, 6th sense, Off-road skill on driver since it helps a lot, Safe stow... Ammorack health increase...

If you want faster repair use big repair kit since you will get ammoracked a lot of times and have damaged gun (He spam). Also, big repair give you repair speed advantage, 15-25% faster repairs, iirc.

But anyway, no need for toolkit unless you play Tortoise or T95. Maximize your firepower since you have armor to deal with lower tiers, and some tier 9s and 10s, toolkit is waste of equipment slot. It was important before, when you didn't have reusable consumables, and Vents will give you that 0.5s of reload etc, and that means more accuracy, and everything beter by 2.5%. (5% crew skill give you 2.5% better everything.:D )

At the end of the day, that worked for me, don't know about you.
I was also running it with small repair kit, and food but i didn't have fires, maybe 1 or 2 in 100+ battles which is not that noticable. When i get damaged fuel tank - repair and continue.

Do you have BiA + view range skills crew?

If yes, then Rammer, Vstab and Vents.

If not, then I'd go either Rammer, Vstab and Optics or Rammer, Vents and Optics

Vstab is useless, use vents instead.

Spall liner essential because of arta

Gun rammer.

In the light of the poo throwing history of this thread ( several posts now deleted) I recommend you argument your claim of "vstab is useless". :)
