I never tested Spaghetto 46 but it looked like a great and fun tank to me. And its only premium tank that I don't have but I really with to have. Now, when it's available to buy, I'm not so sure about it. Lorraine 40t is available as well, could it be a better choice? Also, Spaghetto 46 have paper amour if we look at stats. I have P43.Bis and I presume its similar playstyle. It's a bad tank. Way to sluggish to be a medium tank, way too weak to be heavy. Any pieces of advice?

Why don't you check out the vehicle section of this forum.
More than enough information to be found there.

The armor is crap but the gun is one of the most OP in tier 8. If you flank someone you can do dish out the same damage potential as a tier x tank destroyer.

Not sure either will suit your play style. BTW its not like the BIS, its way mobile, less armoured and has a auto re-loader.

If the Spaghetto 46 is the only Premium you don't have then surely you already have the Lorr 40t? Otherwise it can't be the only Premium tank you don't have....

But on a more serious note they are both great tanks but the Spaghetto 46 is a really fun tank to play and great for Frontline. But as both have paper armour and are very situational you may want to get a bit more experience under your belt otherwise you may not enjoy them so much.

Playing an unarmoured auto(re)loader good requires good situational awareness and map knowledge/map tactics, progetto is a bit more forgiving than the lorraine but I think for now if you want to play tier 8 you should stick to Strv s1 or Skorpion and focus on following the largest bunch of allies and support them from distance.

Certainly looks like a good option given its popularity.

Part of me is tempted, by this false illusion that some spaghetti will give me better performance in Frontline.
My sensible side says it probably wont, you have decent tanks already, including the Lorraine, I dont play enough to justify the cost, I haven't the money and that I should just git gud.

but you'll be better.......................honestly............................................I promise.

It's basically one of the best tier 8 prems you can get might even be the best and hasn't been powercrept yet..

I got one and definitely don't regret it

If you like lights and you like sniping and sneaking about you will love the progetto

camo is the weak point IMO

With a bagload of crew skills this could be the most OP light tank ever

It's good, but it does feel a bit overhyped to me. I like the gun, but the dpm is quite tragic. The auto-reloader is interesting, and can be very powerful in certain situations, but I do feel it trades a lot compared to real autoloaders and single shot guns.

I like it, and it can be an absolute beast in the right situations, but especially in frontlines I found myself prefering single shot guns to keep up continuous fire over having the auto-reloader.

And before anyone starts whining at me, I don't think it's bad at all, it's a great tank. I just think the amount of hype surrounding it is really overplaying how good it is.

I have one on the NA server, and it's great for FL; very fragile though, so I often take it as second pick, when I know if I'm attacking or defending, and on which bit of the map...

I think its very bad. You allways need to use food, a trained crew and improved equiment for it to be barely good. Gold spam too.

During the mission spend like 7€ for the last mission and got it. Never have regretted the purchase. it's one of the top three prems I got and it's simply superb!

You need many games under your belt to get used to it, like the interclip but it's a very good allrounder, and I'm rarely using prem ammo to pen.

My crew is now getting it's 6th skills, so I can pretty much spot my own targets and shoot them without even moving in the bushes and not get spotted.

In close duels you need to calculate whether to wait for the 1st/2nd shot to reload and only then empty the clip, etc. Many drivers just empty the clip and then are sitting ducks.

It's completely different but i like it.

Tier VIII premium tanks already on your account OP =

T26E4 SuperPershing (your most played tank with 957 battles)

Jadgtiger 8.8

Rheinmetall Skoprion G

Strv S1

Lowe

Defender

IS6

RAAC

LT-432 (11 games 9% win rate)

Lorraine 40T (5 games)

M4A1 Revalorisé (4 games)

So there are quite a few premium tier VIII's that you do not own. The Progetto is very similar to the Lorraine 40T which you have 5 games in (rental version at some point?). Both are pretty unforgiving due to weak armour and the need to think about how you deliver your shells, and where you can go when reloading (something you need to have thought about prior to firing them).

By your own standards you are playing really well in the RAAC.

Maybe think about buying the FV4202, the Primo Victoria, the upcoming Lansen C or similar, as they will play in the style of the RAAC which seems to suit you.

If you must have one of the Progetto or the Lorraine 40T then the Progetto. I have both. I use the Progetto first in FL and the Lorraine 40T second.
