What is Wargaming's reasoning here? After all, the artillery has been reworked to perfection now, so it makes perfect sense to introduce higher-tier premium SPGs at last.

And perhaps WG's previous reluctance is no longer applicable as it was restricted to tracked vehicles due to lack of any worthier options for this support class, and we can now have wheeled artillery. I would buy one.

Probably because they regret adding SPGs at all, it's hurting their game and income.

because they make credits anyway and because you dont need a crew-trainer for this..?

all what you need is 1 skill, BIA and any arta is already at max performance...so kinda pointless a premium vehicle on this class considering whats the role of a premium tank !

Maybe because if they released high tier premium arty, everyone could buy it for personal missions/Frontline, and there'd be no need to grind the lines. I think arty still has the highest XP requirement, and with so many people claiming they dislike arty, I suspect many people actually free XP these lines. If that's the case, I doubt WG would want to jeopardise a revenue stream.

How can selling more premium vehicles hurt WG's income? Plenty people who like playing artillery, why not make some money from them? If WG wanted to remove artillery, it would have been done already, so that is not an argument. And if you hate artillery, what does it matter to you if you get hit by ordinary or premium arty? There is just no business sense in not offering premium tier 8 SPGs.

Sooner or later they will add one.It might be tier 7 not to upset the T10 players but with a big gun to do missions.

If they cared about game's balance they wouldnt sell E25,Lefh,defenders,is3A all in one go....

I can only imagine the tanks that will powercreep defender,LT432

There are a lot more paper/fantasy regular tanks to sell, so no need for premium artillery yet.

Seems like good business sense to me not annoying the majority of your playerbase by adding more of a broken class they hate to the game and making them play more games with arty in it.

It's why we haven't had any new arty content for about 5 years now.

Oh they will think of one. They'd have to improve other things to our likings before fooking everything up to the same level again.

I completed the StuG arty personal missions before I even got the 2nd gun on the M44 on my test account.  M44 is all you need for the T28 missions.  There is absolutely no need to free exp anything because by the time you are halfway through the T55A missions you will have the M53/55 and that's all you need for the first campaign.

There's more money to be made selling a tier VIII arty for frontlines.

Come on WG, do it.  Do it now.

Since arty is a well loved addition to the game which really promotes a healthy gameplay and chat environment, I don't understand why WG doesn't make sure there are more arty in the battles.

Considering, how WG handles the game, sooner or later we will have premium tier VIII arties.

But first they need to implement Premium tank crews.

buy bundle of 5 crew members with 4 skills each of a specific class and nation (perhaps of choice). for an easy 15-20 euros.

THEN we can implement premium artillery. presumably autoloading ones.

Spoiler

Please refrain from "pushing the forum's button" in the early morning hours.  It's like waking up to a tabloid at your breakfast table instead of the normal morning paper.

I'm just shocked that you didn't add a suggestion of giving the premium wheeled arty a special form of "homing" ammo that increased it's accuracy.

I guess it was due to the late hour of your post that you only managed to squeese two out of the three main ignition subjects into your suggestion.

Besides, I'm sure WG is already working on introducing a tier VIII lefH into the game, but think it best to roll them into the Christmas boxes.
