When a sense of humour and knowing how most of the community like fun things are considered bad....

Except to every person ever who has used mods to get their own and make them customised ;)

Do you really want one of me?

And there are some people who come to the forums to complain about things that we even try to do nice things with!

Please do not feel the need or right to spam giant text and pictures. Just because you do not like this feature doesn't mean others don't. There are people who play the game for the garage just as much as they do for the battles.

Do you even know what your WoT players want?recent infographics of players decline worldwide shows something else differently, not to mention your total alienation of Japanese and many German war heroes but no such trouble with communist ones

Meh, make some crew skins of 80's rock chicks or 80's/90's page 3 girls and I'll pay attention. :P

Altho I'd be totally down for an Oddball skin... don't care which dog impression you give him, or maybe a Telly Savalas skin from Battle of the Bulge.

I guess humour doesn't always translate. This comes over as a big bag of cringe.

Yes, I do, and none of them can agree on what the others want too ;) You're saying a recent infographic shows decline in a game that's been around for 8 years. This is normal and to be expected. If this is about the German "War hero" inclusion, we will not incorporate people who are historically controversial and provocative towards certain players and demographics.

LOL. If you would kindly go back a few years (4-5) tell me, do you see people complaining as much? NO.

Why do people complain now? It's because the power creep, the premiums forced down our throats, the "special ammo" , russian idiotic bias, the matchmaking stupidity but most of all it's because Wargaming allocate its resources (which are not many) in all the wrong places.

To finish I would like to quote SirFoch, bless him:  do you even play your own game?

There are people here (me included) who remember stories told by our grandparents about the "heroic" Red Army when it occupied Eastern Europe.  Let me tell you something: they are not flattering. I will not describe what the Red Army was as everybody knows that but the suffering brought by it it's only matched by what the nazis did.

This is why to certain players and demographics the russians war heroes are controversial and offensive. It works both ways. So don't use this as an excuse, it's pathethic.

Yes and occasionally a bit more. Not everyone complains and not everyone is happy. But the forums are a small part of the player base and not all complain here. The point is not to assume everyone feels the way you do about things and especially not think that the forums give you whole picture

More.

And about the same things.  Arty, MM, new maps, no new maps, new tanks, no new tanks, OP tanks, UP tanks.

Mind you there were actually some complaints about actual broken stuff back in the day like Maus having no mudguard armour, collision models having 0 damage holes, German mantlets having no armour.

Right. Loved the way you fanboys have access to precise statistics showing a clear decrease in the number of complaints.

I'm looking on youtube and when you see ppl like Jingles, Claus, Circ, Skill and even Quickybaby mocking wot you realise the game is in poor condition. Of course this is only true for EU and NA where ppl expect a certain quality.

Did not Otto Carius play WoT? I think WG even featured. Could we not have him in the future?

I believe it would be OK since he was part of the community at one point, though briefly.

If I am mistaken, please do correct me.

What a hypocritical statement. "Certain" countries have suffered from 50 years Soviet imperialism same or even more as compared to 5 years of Nazi oppression. But you have no problem with commie "heroes" being depicted. So basically you admit that Wargaming is extremely selective what "certain players" feelings they want to protect.

According to you, Wargaming also considers British, Polish, Czech people to be "historically controversial" as well because there are none in "Historical figures section".

One more thing to note to all the people, including yourself, who seem to think "German = Nazi". One of the crew members - Vasily Chapayev - fought in WWI and Russian civil war, not WWII. Which means that the characters encompass more that just WWII period. Which in turn means that there can be Italian people (allies in Entente - not so "controversial and provocative" ), German people (AKA "not Nazis because timeline" ). Which in turn makes you argument even more lame.

Question - if you have a medal called "Karius" ingame, why would be inappropriate to have a crew skin with his name, or as a crew member he would be controversial? Or where is Rommel, held as an example among tankers nowadays?

:(

This could be implemented as an additional donwnloadable package from Game Center though...
