what claim?   i'm merely stating a fact...i asked them if they abide by UK  Consumer Rights Act 2015 about 3 times, each time they refused to answer saying that they abide by their rules and then closed the ticket.

Well, you are claiming they don't follow UK law. They are claiming they do. And since you don't want to point out what part of the act you are talking about to show they are not following it. And since you only point to a vague claim with not pointers that prove your point. You get the responses as seen here.

So idk what your point was. Unless you just wanted us to accept it as is... just because.

Hi Isharial, to be honest, i wasn't really asking the forum a question, i was just making a statement based on my personal experience (maybe to see if anyone else has similar experience) i wasn't expecting so many WG affiliates to jump on the post and start flaming so quickly.

I also thought i was pretty clear in my statement, maybe i'll make the words not so complicated and shorter sentences next time.

Flat Earthers say the same thing on Youtube, they are making statements based on their personal experience with the ever faceless "They" and the plot by NASA.

maybe because they are not in the uk? dont know the law. but we want to know what you want from this?

makes no difference - why would an organisation close you down just because they don't like the conversation...very poor customer service imo....but hey, as long as they make their money, who cares...nobody apparently

If their answer is not satisfactory to you please specify which of 'their rules' is contradictory to that consumer rights act.

We care, just you aren't being helpful, constructive or specific with your claim.

are you having a bad day?  need a hug?  i'm not really sure how i'm supposed to prove anything to you...i'm not sure if the content of my ticket is confidential and shouldn't shared...?

We aren't asking you to share the content of your ticket, we are asking which section of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are talking about. An Act of law can have over 100 sections with multiple subsections attached to each section.

You didn't show any screen shots.

So how can whe tell you are not another guy that says that WG is this and that and OP this and OP that and UP this and broken that.

I would love to see some facts and more.

WG isn't going to help you if you got no screenshots or something.
There are a lot of topics. WG can't take 30 minutes of their time to search on what happend in your support tickets.

however, you posted this on a public forum, so expect people to comment on whatever you post, either in favour or against whatever you post. that is the nature of forums, people will reply.

your post has nothing written in it, there's nothing "clear" about it, its as bad as those "me g3t hecked" threads... with nothing to actually reply to in a sensible manner, I get the feeling this is simply posted to stir up people and get them to troll you...

"clear" posts usually have what you want discussed within them... you know.. the reason *why* you made this thread.. ie the thing you posted an entire ticket to wargaming about.. that would have gotten different replies

i didn't even get the chance to be specific about it with WG - i asked a few times if they could explain why their refund rules are different to the UK  Consumer Rights Act 2015 for digital goods - they refused to even comment on it, just repeating that they already told me the answer - then just closed the ticket

Then be specific here. Not hard to point out which part of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are talking about.

In what way are they different?

You get exactly what you buy, and it being digital goods provided in an online game service, there's no chance of them being faulty either.

So what, exactly, is your problem?

That's just not the case now is it?

If I rent a film on Apple TV and in the middle it's corrupt, and not fixed until after the rental period then what happens?  Yes, you guessed it consumer law kicks in.

@OP you need to look up the application of consumer law in UK to Greece (where last time I looked WG are based).

IIRC it's in our favour - but then I am not a lawyer, not even a barrack room one.

Dude, You need to feed the readers some details or they'll continue to rip the pi**

As it stands this forum is full of whine. If you dont give details you only look like another one.

Maybe you should contact WGs legal department and not the regular support? Doubt they have lawyers handling their support tickets...

a good point, but my understanding is that the law applies in the country the goods were purchased in (i think, but i'm also not legal in any way, shape or form)

And which part of the law do you think is problematic?

Would you classify yourself as "barely legal"?

ok, sorry, i just wanted all the abuse for while - i like it :-)

i bought a tank - 2 days later i decided WOT is broken beyond repair (EBRs, MM etc) and wanted my money back - the answer was that as i've used the tank (stats say 5 battles) so i can't have a refund.

I asked several times why their rules outweigh Consumer Rights Act 2015 for digital goods - i wasn't really expecting the result to be in my favour, but my point was that they just avoided the question (multiple times) and then just closed the ticket before we could get to the bottom of it (even if it wasn't in my favour).

hope that makes sense?
