As per usual I'll point out the frustration of many Irish each 17th as misinformed people like those at WG present a 4 leaf clover as a shamrock. Kind of a tradition for me at this stage after so many years of pointing this out to WG time and time again.

Well I'm Irish and don't really care a whole lot, you do know St. Patrick was British born and came from Roman controlled Britain? He's not actually Irish or anything? Anyway, I get the gripe about the clover shamrock thing but for me it's technicality that WG could have easily righted without even changing the clover to a shamrock. Ok, Shamrock is the symbol most associated with St. Patricks day and St. Patrick used the 3 leaf plant to symbolize the trilogy of Christianity, everyone following? As in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, as the story goes, and the 3 leaves of the shamrock reflecting that trilogy as St. Patrick explained to the heretic evil Irish Pagans at the time, such was our way, Celt Pagan Gods and all that fun sort of stuff.
In regards to the WoT St. Patricks day 4 lead clover, all WG had to do, still can do, is change their wording from referring to it as shamrock, because it's not, and call it what it is, clover. This is still fine because clover is for luck and there's that old saying "Luck of the Irish" so all good in the emerald hood. But ya it's like suggesting a Daisy is the symbol of England instead of a Rose, not sure it's going to pass tbh lol. Nettle for Scotland? lol ok ok enough. Welsh Poodle? Dragon indeed who knew??
