1.4.0.2_03 was reported as a trojan, 1.4.0.2_04 did not have the same problem ... Me thinx it was a false positive.

*update*

1.4.0.2_05 also no problems reported here.

*update 2*

Some info on the aslain forum: http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/13107-solved-windows-defender-reports-a-trojan/

difficult for two different antiviruses to give a false positive, of course it is possible but I don't use it until it no longer reports it as malware

if you want a good modpack to use instead, use https://soloviyko.com/

Better than Aslains modpack anyway, in my opinion. Solo's can also be found on the wargaming mod portal. never had an issue with it personally before

Upload it to virustotal to make sure, there's a 99.9% chance it's just a false positive.

So you're waiting for the version that comes with the trojan your AV doesn't detect?  :)

I always thought that if you used a trojan you wouldn't receive a virus. You see, even at my age I can still learn something new. Too bad it wasn't how to play this game.

Your house has 2 doors. You keep both locked but still worry about burglary so you get 6 more doors with nice strong locks put in.

thats antivirus in a nutshell. why bother?

No problems with trojans hiding in mods if you don't use mods. :girl:

Not necessarily, some antiviri programs use the same lists as another antivirus program does.

Also, where did the OP download the mod update from?

It's a microsoft fault, I reported it to them repeatedly. They removed the detection but looks like not effectively.

Virustotal doesn't detect anything: https://www.virustot...2eba6/detection

I'm running malwarebytes premium, it's up-to-date and it's not detecting anything.... Show screenshot with proof.

It's not better, but different, it's similar just with less amount of mods and options. And surprise, my modpack is on wgmods either, like for ages now.
