Hi guys,

i decided i wanted to check my progress towards MoE but i installed Aslains modpack and it doesnt work. Sometimes i can move it, sometimes i cannot, sometimes it shows percentages, wn8, and progress, sometimes it only shows percentage, even that is wrong and actually when doing damage percentage goes down for some reason.

Is there any mod that works like clockwork? From my understanding there is none and every MoE mod is having a lot of troubles all the time.

isnt this one exactly the one that is in Aslains modpack?... does it work for you every single time?... if not there is no point installing it

I use the one from Aslain and it works fine for me. Well, unless it's the first game of the day and thus have not updated itself yet, but after that it's good. But you shouldn't pay much attention to it anyway, it's just a convenient way to see what's up. Don't stare at it and try to follow the numbers. Do your thing and let it follow you.

Don't know about Aslain's pack but this one works perfectly.

Just use XVM witch is a big part of Aslain and forget Aslain.

Aslain is like an elephant stamping on a mouse.

The Aslain mod has just to many options due to the fact it smacked to many different mods together into 1 graphical environment.

XVM you need to tinker some files to personalize it.

Aslain does exactly the same but only in a graphical environment and then ads stuff from a multitude of other mod designers you don't really need.

Well it's not like you have to use every mod there is. Just pick the ones to your liking and press the battle button. No file tinkering needed (for us that can't be bothered :P )

But where's the surprise? I can check the current marks % on the tanks stats in-garage and from playing many battles with that tank I'll kinda already know roughly how much I'll need to make whatever difference I'm looking for plus I like the excitement of those tense few seconds after a potential 3rd mark battle waiting to see if I did enough while the battle report is loading, then it's "nice!! yay, I don't totally suck at this game all the time!" or it's "what?? damn you game! I was mugged!" . It's not like if I had a mod and it showed mid battle that I'd hit 95% that I'd suddenly stop shooting enemy tanks or do anything different lol.

well thats my problem actually... i cannot get MoE because i play for a win for the most part.... playing for MoE is completely different and requires you to not trying to win and watching the progress you have to make to reach your goal you can actually adjust your play for each game.... i started noticing that sometimes i do very risky moves just to win games, which mostly results in our win but a lot of time i die without having MoE progress.... if i had progress bar on my screen i would be reminded just to use my friendlies as a meat shield for me to farm damage... its huge difference to me

Staying alive is cool and all but what you are describing is not the correct way of the mark. Where's all the sweet assist from sitting in the back? Is QB your lord and saviour?

It never shows WN8.

Press alt to see combined damage.
Press alt and drag it to move it.

Sometimes dragging doesn't work.

If you use ALT + NUMPAD 9 you can change the info you can see on the mod

I play only for MOE and my recent WR is 4% higher than yours. Maybe you should play more for MOE and less for win eh?

PS, Since you obviously have no clue how marking tanks work I will give you a hint. Assist damage.

ok let me rephrase that... i dont know how aggressive i have to be... sometimes i just jump in and kill myself for two shots dmg more.... seeing how much i have to do would be a help
