Swift reading among frontpage: over half of threads contain critisism or outright disgust of WG practices. Wonder If you posted this in right forums?

At least you get a warning... try making a comment about some early access games on Steam and the villagers are out with pitchforks before you can spellcheck what you posted :teethhappy:

When you go on a rant just for going on rant yes of course, but normal criticism presented in a normal way no.

Not at all, no.
But they do that if you just rant and rage - like you did.

I am just wondering if you also see the trend that moderators in the forum warn you or stop your thread when you complain about Wargaming?

I would beg to differ.

That depends on how you rant. As when half the words in the title are *edit*.. Well.

As it's not always what you say, but how you say it. As a former moderator of an MMO years and years ago. I got the same smack in my face when I cleaned up "haters". But if I let it stay, then you upset the fanboys and they wanted it cleaned. So you don't win either way.

Except when you disagree with the Community Manager about how trash is the RHM Trashwagen, and suddenly moderators are all over the topic and 'moderate' perfectly fine, civilized and constructive posts because....... they are 'unconstructive'....:hiding:

Ohh, and my last ban was because i dared to disagree with that chick who left WG, i think she was also Community Manager and had no [edited] idea about what is happening in this game.

TBF I think the majority of the moderation on this forum is pretty good, but then you get threads like the 1 you mentioned where some posts simply vanished, while other ones were heavily edited despite containing nothing offensive.

I personally received a warning point for my 2nd post in that thread (for being non-constructive) which vanished & did not contain anything against the rules but did in fact continue the ongoing discussion.  Yet our community managers posts all remained despite breaking several forum rules himself. Personally, I'm glad they didn't remove his posts insulting his customers, advising them not to play the game & even suggesting they don't get a job working with statistics while completely misreading the supplied statistics himself.

So while I think the majority of the moderation is required and at a good standard, there are some glaring exceptions which of course tend to stick in our minds more than the 1000s of pointless or duplicate threads that they close.

These absolute madlads taking a videogame forum seriously. If you want serious discussion you should probably go to reddit which is largely un-moderated but if you make a terrible post it will be downvoted into invisibility. These forums are for funposting and accumulating cool warnings.

There's no fun without walking the fine line with the moderation team.  They make this forum what it is :)

Noooo??? You noticed it too? Hahhahahah! They would never do that! Just look at the state of the game and moderators behavior on the forum will be perfectly reasonable. :D

Nope but I have noticed they don't like people breaking the forum rules.  Like you just did.
