This time i took  what WG admins recommended me to do. Report offensive nick names, and clan tags/names.

Well i took it by heart, and i tested this system for  about 3 weeks.

Well they are not entirely  happy it seems of me opening tickets, reporting and making cases for names and tags that break rule "3.08 which have an association with sexuality, pedophilia, sexual abuse; or have an offensive connection to the human body or bodily functions." Just so they know i did not make any reference to sanctions!

Why i picked , to pick on this rule, well i have my reasons.

While some people might think  i flooded CS with reports, this is not the case, i actually held back and only reported a fraction of a fraction of names that i found.

While  initially  i wanted to post my chat with CS, i changed my mind, why would i give them reasons to ban me,? i have my proof screen shotted and saved how fair and how they enforce rules on some instances and on some instances they don't.

I'm happy with that, and while some people might not get what i am talking about, WG can rest assured that plenty of people know what i am talking about with proof..

Was it  worth it , some asked me? Yes and yes, because once WG admins start  making    a recommendation  officially on the forum, and they can't hold up to that.. well i rest my case.

While i can't post my talk with support, i am sure if a WG admin thinks i am lying could post all my ticket history with CS to prove me wrong....i will waver my right in writing in player confidentiality ,  here and right now.  So it's up to them.

Moderate this one!

OP welcome back.

WG hypocrites when it comes to enforcing their own rules, what a surprise ... not.

Look i know this post out of nothing might seem confusing, but there is a back story to that. Some people know it, some do not, it's fine.

Okay, if you have your reasons, i apologize. You can keep doing this but you won't make this a better community. Online gaming is stress relieving and one part of them is insulting someone while you shout at your screen. I can hardly imagine that there's anyone who haven't done it before. It's part of the competitive games. This game has a toxic community, CODs have a toxic community, FIFA has a toxic community, even Mario Kart has a toxic community.

You report someone and maybe they will ban it, but immediately 10 other take it's place.

Depends on how strict you are on your definition of 'association.' According to the fabled Rule 34 of the internet, everything is technically associated with sexuality.....

Don't get offended by names and tags and other bullcrap. Online gaming is the place for offending someone cos' you don't do that on the streets, and it feels good.

That's kinda his point actually. D0NG clan got renamed because it was offensive but somehow every "offensive" name he reported received zero response(BTW I have no doubt that he did managed to find those nicknames/clan tags). Also WG is being a douche in this case of his, especially after forum mods recommend reporting rule violations and support being,... not supportive. :D

This is not true, i don't want  misconceptions to go around the forums. I had tickets resolved, several of them.

I replied only to the bold part, some of my tickets initially got resolved,(so saying 0 support is not correct). some not, and lately ....well WG know what they said.

Actually, according to the experts on stress (based on discussions during multiple "stress reduction" seminars at work), online gaming does not help to relieve stress.  However, screaming and laughing are methods that help relieve stress so if you combine it with online gaming I guess you are getting some stress relief.

Personally (meaning this is an opinion and you are welcome to disagree) I don't think that being toxic is healthy in the long run.  If you get into the habit of doing it online it will make it more likely that it will spill over into your every day life.  I'm not against this trend of "reminding" people that they are doing something wrong, that they wouldn't do in a room full of people.  Not to say that it can't be taken to extremes sometimes.

If people learn to control their toxicity maybe it will also help them control their urges to rush into 10 enemy tanks when they get frustrated with their teams gameplay?  So, in their efforts to regulate the game chat WG is really just trying to increase the quality of gameplay !

(no, I don't really think that is their reason)

Hello guys,

I want to inform you that I have locked this thread for being heavily unconstructive. Feel free to continue the discussion elsewhere in a better tone.

Wish you the best,
