Because Friday evening to Sunday evening include the peak user playing times, taking the servers down for hours during that period would impact the largest number of players.

That is the main reason why planned weekend maintenance is avoided in every single online game that I have ever played.

In addition data centre technical support for a complex patch is harder to organise on the weekends as the staff there also like to spend their weekends at home (and the same goes for the external software and hardware providers that might be needed if there is a problem in those areas).

I understand you are doing your best on your own OL but WG are making you/us look like idiots with all these delays and no proper explanation. So my simple question is....

5 WTF is going on????

1. Because of stability issues caused by overcrowded servers. We have overcome them in 7.0, having enabled the 2nd RU server. CWs will be resumed soon.

2. Heavy workload at the end of this year with multiple releases of multiple versions for multiple servers caused this unfortunate delay.

3. The development stage on 7.0 has been passed. We have two bottle necks: testing and deployment to public/main servers. These two particularly cause the delay.

4. Most of the team work 6 day a week with total amount of 70+ working hours. Personally I can't demand more from them.

5. We are sorry about the delay in 7.0 release. I guess, at least you understand that it is not intentional. Sometimes s..t just happens. Hopefully 7.x series release will come out faster.

Localization itself is not a real problem as it is. It leads to inevitable testing issues.

With the tank lockout not applying to landings and battles between multiple people fighting over land, On the landings part of it does it apply to:

1. The owner of the landing site

2. The clan who wins the right to fight the owner of the landing site

So do these get the lockout rule on their tanks in these conditions

Though I remind that tank freezing won't be available at least for some time on EU.

1. No, not planning to enable mixed cartridges.

2. It's possible. Press "С" in battle.

a) Will you add anything like that...?
b ) If not, why not...? As I understand it, you are using the RL velocity to calculate penetration etc.

And for tracers! IRL they can only be seen from behind in a narrow angle and not as in the game from the front. The only thing you will see (Maybe) is a muzzle flash and/or gun smoke (Less on German guns.)

Question 2:
a) Will you change that...?
b ) If not, why not...?

One could argue that there also is a difference in each country, gun and ammunition type, regarding velocity, ballistic and smoke generated, but that might stretching it at bit to much  :Smile-hiding:

1. No. It was done for the sake of gameplay and players' convenience. Not planning to change the current situation.

2. No again. This is purely gameplay and fun factor, that has little to do with reality.

The single-piece cast armor on M7 HMC lower front (for vehicles built using M4 Medium running gear) was up to 4.25" (108mm) thick and curved. Because you missed the iportant thing about M4A3E2 Assault Tank - in comparison to both older pattern M4A3 (glacis 51mm at 56°) and newer pattern (64mm @ 47°) it had 102mm @47° glacis, lower front hull up to 4.5" (114mm) rounded, and turret front of 152mm with 178mm mantlet. IE it was pretty resistant even to 88mm L/56 gun.

Hope nothing has been asked&answered too many times before  :Smile-hiding:

1. Applies only to fallen trees. That's difficult from the mechanics point of view, since trees are destructible (sort of) objects.

2. Skipping the ETA. We are performing tests with larger maps and for sure would like to introduce them to the game.

3. Skipping the date. German TDs have been modeled and are waiting to be tuned for testing.

4. Planning to make it available for testing in the update which comes after 7.1. If everything goes well.

5. No such plans.
