I never played any of the Pz..Kpfw. IV variants in the game. I really enjoyed playing my Pz.Kpfw. IV back in the old days until it was removed, and even as a new player I did alright in it. Changing the tech tree was such a disappointment to me at that time that I almost quit playing the game.

I played 1900+ games in it, all with the L/70, (i never used the derp), the tier spread was wider back then but low calibre HE was more effective

 

i only played a handful of games after it got it's historical gun and then sold it, i was going to get it back for historical battles, but didn't get round to it quick enough before they finished

 

note: also most of my games with the kv were with the original with the 107mm, i miss that too

The german medium tank line was the first i ever started playing back in 2011 and i have extremely fond memories of especially the Pz IV.
Pz IV for me is probably the most nostalgic and iconic tank for me in world of tanks. Today i have it 3 marked and it remains my favourite tank!

I don't really get idea of this article. I mean, its only shows some unnecessary info for newer players that how PZ4 changed over time, something i don't think they ever cared or will ever use information written there, as, old patch is old patch in the end? Not like they will have chance to experiance old WoT and use old Pz4 nor Kv1/2 in battlefielt today, or most likely, ever?..

Sad part is, this article talks about WoT that i loved so much and most of my active play time actually done at thoose times. I've been most active until french lane added to game. After that, every patch simple put me further far away from game. I'm still around, for sure. But WoT became something i casually do 3-5 match over month instead my main game that i spend few hours daily.

So in the end, this article only made me remember how i enjoyed old WoT before, and nothing really usefull otherwise.

Considering the upcoming special commanders we bear witness to an "in your face" Soviet favoritism, which is no longer covered up, while this nation seems to have gone to the rear of the caravan.

 

Obviously WG can't... how did you put it... "molly-coddle" EU, since WG's lap is currently occupied with the RU, but it has passed some time since we were thrown a bone.

Tbh, i feel the same, but the thought of them rebalancing the german mid-tiers, where the nation shines .... freaks me out. because it will probably mean wrecking the nation even further, for some marginal gain at the higher tiers.

We really want to buy this tank WG, forget about your "promises" about this in the past, you never kept them for the other "never to be sold again" tanks either...
